The world faces unprecedented challenges, conflicts, terrorism, and social unrest that threaten peace on a global scale. But peace isn’t just about resolving conflicts between nations; it extends to individual well-being, interpersonal harmony, and even environmental balance. This initiative seeks to harness the power of AI-driven ideas to foster peace in all its dimensions; global, societal, personal, and ecological.

RFP Ideation Challenge Overview 

This challenge invites visionaries, developers, and AI enthusiasts worldwide to think beyond conventional solutions and propose ideas for AI-driven innovations that can contribute to a more peaceful world. Whether addressing misinformation that fuels conflicts, designing AI models that mediate disputes, or building systems that promote mental well-being, participants are encouraged to push the boundaries of creative problem-solving. 

This is an ideation challenge, hence participants are not mandated to build these AI ideas, however, we want to celebrate the dynamism and diversity of ideas from participants primed specifically to solve global peace. 

Challenge Duration: The AI for Peace RFP Ideation challenge will run 4 weeks from March 18th, 2025 until April 15th, 2025

4. Submit your idea under “AI for Peace Challenge” by filling out the form

Submission Requirements 

Each submission should provide a clear and concise outline of the idea for the proposed AI solution. The challenge will require participants to complete the following fields:

1. Ideation Title (Max 50 Characters): A  descriptive title that captures the essence of the idea.
2. Idea Summary: A brief overview explaining the concept.
3. Idea Description: A general explanation of the idea and its context
4. Problem Description: Description of the problem you are aiming to solve 
5. Proposed Solution: Description of how you want to solve this problem and how AI will be leveraged.

Rules For The AI For Peace Challenge

• The challenge is open to participants globally
• The Idea should be suitable to become an AI service that could be developed during our Hackathon and onboarded to the SingularityNET marketplace
• Great ideas may advance into full RFPs, hence by applying to this challenge participants should be aware of the opportunity for the ongoing development of the RFP with the assistance of the ideating participant, but there’s no obligation for the participant to take it further.

Selection & Prize: 

• A panel of experts will review all submissions based on real-world impact, feasibility, and alignment with the challenge.
• Each winner of the Ideation challenge will receive $500 in AGIX. Ideas that are selected to become RFPs will receive an additional $1,000 in AGIX.
• RFP ideas that weren’t selected as winners still can become RFPs.

‘AI For Peace’ Online Hackathon – “Dualathon”

To increase our impact even more we are organizing an ‘AI For Peace’ online Hackathon. Winning ideas of the RFP Ideation challenge are likely to become tracks for the Hackathon.
