Introducing the Deep Funding Events Circle: Enhancing Community Engagement and Growth

Author: rafael Published: August 22, 2024

As Deep Funding continues to evolve, the recently created Deep Funding Events Circle will play a crucial role in improving community engagement and streamlining event management. When requested, and upon viability, this circle will support meetings and events for the Deep Funding ecosystem, ensuring impactful experiences and fostering stronger connections within the community.

Introducing Deep Funding All-Hands

We are introducing a new structure for community engagement through the Open Deep Funding All-Hands meetings. These sessions will bring together Circle members to present key topics, updates, and initiatives while allowing the community to provide feedback and contribute ideas.

This new gathering will alternate bi-weekly with the regular Town Halls, on different days and times, ensuring consistent communication between Deep Funding and the community, and keeping everyone informed about the program’s progress. It will also serve as a ramp for onboarding new members into the community and providing them with the context and insights they need to contribute effectively.

Core Responsibilities of the Events Circle

  1. Town Hall and Deep Funding All-Hands Meetings:
    • Town Halls: Held bi-weekly, focusing on DF overarching topics, like awarded teams presentations, to keep the community engaged and informed.
    • Deep Funding All-Hands: Bi-weekly, Circle members will present updates, while the community will have the opportunity to provide feedback and participate in ideation.
  2. Regional Town Halls Strategy:
    • Define and execute strategies for regional Town Halls to address the unique needs of different regions.
    • Co-create RFPs for regional Town Halls and manage quality and payments for these initiatives.
  3. Community Website Updates:
    • The Events Circle will be responsible for updating the community website with all events related to Deep Funding and the wider SingularityNET ecosystem. This will serve as a central hub for event-related information.
  4. Event Management:
    • Support, if requested, DF meetings, including the regular gatherings, but also innovative and outstanding events, like Spotlight Days or hackathons.
    • We are not expecting to have one, but if the case, this Circle would oversee logistics for in-person meetings, such as venue selection, travel arrangements, and on-site coordination.

Strategic Approach

  • Inclusive and Global Considerations: Events will consider the global community, accounting for time zones, languages, and cultural differences to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Proactive Event Management: A structured framework for planning and executing both virtual and in-person events will ensure consistency and quality in every engagement.
  • Community Engagement and Growth: By maintaining continuous organization, awareness, and hosting through Town Halls and Deep Funding All-Hands, we aim to strengthen the relationship between DF Circles and the community, driving meaningful growth.

Looking Forward

The Deep Funding Events Circle will ensure that DF’s events and communications are consistently engaging, transparent, and aligned with the community’s needs. Through Deep Funding All-Hands meetings and other initiatives, we will strengthen communication and foster growth within the DF and SingularityNET ecosystems.

Stay tuned for updates on upcoming Town Halls, Deep Funding All-Hands meetings, and other initiatives as we implement this structure. Your participation and feedback are critical to the success of the Events Circle.
