Strategic Quantum Paths to Scalable AGI
Quantum-IC designer Omowuyi Olajide, neuroscience-AI lead Gabriel Axel Montes, quantum scientist Lucija Grba, Nature-published pioneer Gert Cauwenberghs, and HPC-quantum strategist Theo Valich will evaluate four hardware paradigms—trapped-ion, superconducting, photonic, topological—and three hybrid algorithms (Quantum Walks, QAOA, VQE). We’ll benchmark coherence, fidelity, error-correction overhead, and throughput on AGI tasks (inference, pattern recognition, symbolic reasoning) inside OpenCog Hyperon, build quantum-classical prototypes of PLN, MOSES, ECAN, and deliver a rigorous feasibility and cost-benefit roadmap for decentralized, scalable, quantum-accelerated AGI [1]-[7].
