My idea is based on the pov of community. We have no access to our own cryptocurrency as Kenyans/Africans. We are a team of developers who are positive a crypto based off our local currency would have a highly impactful and would make alot of sense to us. We are a research based registered company in Kenya with the aim of doing exactly that in order to increase inclusivity in our country and reducing monotomy in the industry. We haven't had any impactful tech since the development of mpesa.
We are developing a community focused crypto currency with the aim of developing a stable coin to act as a financial tool, create investment opportunities through the coin. from the stable coin it could branch off more coins and meme coins which could offer unlimited solutions to the challenges we often face aas Africans.
Kenya and most Africans are supsetive to new technologies. Kenya for example is recognized for also having one of the biggest pools of crypto customers. However, we still aren't able to fully tap to this opportunities as most are using the usd currency as the base currency, we would love to bring this technology close to our community with smth that they can easily convert to our home currency while maintaining the profit margins from the trades
creating the first Africa focused decentralized crypto currency with the kenyan currency being the basecurrency as it's already widely recognize as a stable currency by most of our neighnours.
