Problem description

Conflict regions, notably DR Congo, face persistent violence driven by valuable mineral extraction. Existing certifications like Kimberley Process (diamonds only) and CFSP (limited minerals) suffer from transparency issues, inadequate real-time verification, and limited incentive structures, failing to comprehensively address the root causes of conflict and exploitation. Awareness of these conflicts and the impact of technology use is low among the ultimate end-users of this mineral wealth.

Proposed Solutions

Implement a blockchain-based certification system enhanced by AI-driven verification processes and oracles, creating a high-trust labeling of minerals, components and devics which are conflict-free and ethically sourced.
