The Africa Women in AI Community Hub is an initiative designed to empower African women in AI, equipping them with skills, knowledge, and opportunities to participate actively in the AI ecosystem. Through education, mentorship, and funding assistance, we will onboard African women into AI-related careers, entrepreneurship, and Deep Funding opportunities. Key Objectives: Expand AI literacy, entrepreneurship, and solutions development for African women. Increase women-led participation in Deep Funding rounds. Provide structured mentorship for AI careers & entrepreneurship. Strengthen engagement in SingularityNET’s AI ecosystem.
We are seeking individuals to lead and manage Deep Funding Community Hub initiatives. These initiatives aim to establish and foster decentralized Deep Funding Communities centered around specific topics or areas of interest where a dedicated community would be valuable.

The primary objective of these Community Hubs is to expand Deep Funding in a decentralized way. This involves engaging new members, providing information, sharing best practices for submitting funding proposals and building strong, collaborative communities. Regular online meetings will also be an integral part of these initiatives to connect, grow, and support the community.

Goal: Onboard 50 active members in month 1. Initiate the first drive of marketing and awareness for the community hub leveraging our existing network. Build an online and offline presence to attract engage retain and guide African women into the AI community hub. Execution Strategy: Activities: 1. Launch the community platform (Discord and Telegram). 2. Create onboarding guides and automate welcome messages. 3. Develop info-edu materials for social media. 4. Institute social media presence and begin first multi-channel awareness campaign [social media emails and partnership] 5. Plan and execute first two virtual events [One Townhall and One AMA Session] 6. Begin outreach to women-centric organizations university student communities and other partners.

Provide mentorship in AI proposal writing and project funding. Execution Strategy: 1. Proposal writing workshops led by past Deep Funding recipients. 2. 1-on-1 mentorship on AI Fund grant writing. 3. AI Thinkathon prep sessions to refine ideas.
