Natural Language Explainability for Temporal KGs

Our team is dedicated to addressing a fundamental challenge in AGI development: making temporal knowledge graphs interpretable through natural language while ensuring reasoning consistency through Truth Maintenance Systems (TMS). We're proposing a comprehensive framework for explaining complex temporal relationships and reasoning paths within knowledge graphs in human-understandable language, with particular attention to browsable, observable logic workflows compatible with OpenCog Hyperon, including MeTTa and MORK. What excites us most is the potential to bridge the gap between machine temporal reasoning and human understanding through transparent, traceable inference processes.

Neurotech Controls for AGI Motivational Framework

With the increasing interest in brain-computer interfaces (BCI), there is as of yet no framework that links brains with AGI systems. In collaboration with key SingularityNET ecosystem stakeholders, neuroscientist Gabriel Axel Montes (Neural Axis), has been developing a multi-faceted AGI motivation framework rooted in cognitive (neuro)science & psychological theories that allows for the adjustment of personality parameters of AI agents for a variety of applications, e.g. robotics, finance, & metaverse characters. With this proposal, a team of neuroscientists aim to identify a mechanism to control mental-emotional parameters using brain signals, setting a foundation for a brain-to-AI pipeline.

Alignment-Optimized Fundraising Tool for AI Research and Entrepreneurship

RnDAO and ReLab, under the Regenerative Organizations Laboratory, aim to address the problem of stakeholder misalignment in AI development, particularly AGI, by developing the Preferential Return on Investment Soft-Capped Multistakeholder Model (PRISM). PRISM is designed to provide an alternative fundraising model for AI projects, ensuring alignment between entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and collaborators, prioritizing humanity's wellbeing and safety. The grant application seeks funding to further research and apply PRISM to AI development and alignment, potentially offering a solution to the risks posed by competitive dynamics in the AI field. The project involves research planning, user interviews, design adaptations, presentation, validation, and publishing of findings. It will be conducted in collaboration with SingularityNET, leveraging both organizations' social channels and networks for promotion. The findings will be made publicly available under a creative commons license. Mitigation strategies include a collaborative alliance and the possibility of disproving the hypothesis.

Unique Knowledge Graph for Source and Content Reliability

TrustLevel proposes a comprehensive solution to assess the reliability and objectivity of textual information across various domains. Their approach involves integrating diverse data sources, structured knowledge graph development, and multifaceted analysis. By doing so, they aim to provide users with a powerful tool for evaluating text objectivity.

The project consists of several key components, including sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, clickbait detection, source reputation analysis, and the creation of a structured knowledge graph. Users will have access to a query interface that allows them to interact with the knowledge graph and perform complex analyses.

TrustLevel outlines a detailed budget breakdown for the project, divided into five milestones, spanning 14 weeks. Each milestone focuses on specific aspects of the project, such as system architecture design, knowledge graph development, text analysis integration, query interface development, and final documentation.

To mitigate potential risks, TrustLevel emphasizes proactive communication, compatibility analysis, and alternative APIs/sources in case of technical challenges or data quality issues. They also provide optional tasks to ensure project completion even if the scope or timing becomes a concern.

Simulating a Risky World

Photrek plans to develop Simulating Risky Worlds, a service for simulating virtual worlds with controllable uncertainty and relative risk levels. This service combines two components: Photrek's Risk-Aware Data Generator and Deep Brain's Open-Source World Models. They've secured $49,480 in funding to address the issue of brittle AI/ML algorithms, making them more robust to deviations from training data.

The solution utilizes Coupled Variational Autoencoder (CVAE) and includes a Memory Module with a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) for predictive simulations. They aim to demonstrate the utility of Simulating a Risky World to potential customers, including organizations like Vantage Risk and NOAA Severe Storm Laboratory.

The project will be divided into milestones, including integrating CVAE with Dynamics and onboarding Simulating a Risky World. Hosting costs will cover Google Cloud servers, Ethereum transaction fees, and AGIX fees.

Photrek intends to offer 2.5% of revenue when it exceeds $5,000 as support to SingularityNET. Their software will be open source, with various licensing models for different components.

TrustLevel Integration into SNET/AI Marketplace

TrustLevel is seeking $21,920 USD in funding to integrate its trustworthiness assessment solution into SingularityNet's AI marketplace. TrustLevel combines AI/ML and blockchain technology to evaluate the reliability and objectivity of online content and sources, aiming to combat the proliferation of unreliable information on the internet. The project addresses the challenges of information overload, fake news, and limited media literacy.

TrustLevel's solution includes a browser extension that uses AI to analyze website content, a reputation scoring algorithm to assess content and source quality, and the use of the Cardano blockchain for storing reputation scores. The proposal outlines four milestones, including kick-off and framework mapping, API development, publishing on the AI Marketplace, and documentation.

To mitigate potential risks, TrustLevel will conduct comprehensive technical assessments, thorough testing, and maintain open communication with SingularityNet's technical team during integration. Additionally, they plan to encourage user adoption through educational initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and incentives for early adopters.

Revenue generation will come from API calls, with 10% of additional revenue beyond $1,000 per month going back into SNET/DeepFunding wallets for five years. TrustLevel also plans to release its solution as open source in the future to enhance transparency.

Facilitate a “Reputation – Focus Group”

TrustLevel's proposal focuses on addressing challenges within the Deep Funding Governance mechanisms by creating a Deep Funding - Reputation Focus Group. This initiative aims to gather experts and community members to ideate and design effective reputation systems for Deep Funding. The proposal outlines a series of workshops, including open community workshops and expert workshops, hosted on Zoom. The workshops will result in a written recommendation to the SingularityNET Foundation for future Deep Funding rounds. The project's funding request of $5,000 will cover workshop preparation, hosting, participant rewards, and the creation of a recommendation paper. TrustLevel aims to foster community-driven innovation, ensure transparency, and enhance the Deep Funding ecosystem.

H+DAO Transhumanist Decentralized Projects

A group of individuals with long involvement in the transhumanist community, and with advocacy of the nonprofit Humanity+, are coming together to create H+DAO. Operating as a distinct organization from Humanity+, but in close partnership with it, H+DAO is a new decentralized autonomous organization. It possesses an innovative structure yet is established with goals strongly akin to Humanity+: To support the ethical and appropriate use of technology to better the human condition.
