This project proposes an AI-powered platform to prevent, detect, and respond to human trafficking. It will analyze public and private data — such as online ads, travel patterns, social media, and reports — to identify suspicious behaviors and networks. Using computer vision and NLP, the system will detect visual and linguistic signs of coercion. A multilingual, anonymous chatbot will support potential victims, witnesses, or relatives, connecting them with protection services. Generative AI will create localized training simulations for border agents, police, healthcare, and education professionals — those often in first contact with victims. The platform aims to save lives, enhance early detection, and empower frontline workers through accessible and adaptable tools.

Problem description

Human trafficking is a global crime that often goes undetected. Many victims are not identified in time, and current tools are reactive and fragmented. There is a lack of predictive systems and training for frontline professionals, making early detection rare. An AI-based solution is needed to identify risk patterns, support potential victims, and assist those most likely to encounter them.
