Description

6 months. 12 projects. Game-changing AI ideas.

Let’s incubate the next generation of AI innovators. Our mission? Take ideas from concept to market. Connect visionaries with experts. Build a network that accelerates growth. Why? Because AI is no longer a trend – it’s the solution the market is craving.

Detailed Idea

Alignment with DF goals (BGI, Platform growth, community)

Many ideas fail early, and many projects don’t reach their audience due to lack of close guidance, even after winning grants or hackathons. This lack of mentorship can turn great opportunities into missed chances and wasted resources.

This initiative aims to create an incubator for:

  • Deep Funding grantees/hackathon winners

  • Ideation category projects

The six-month incubation offers personalized mentorship, resources, and network access to optimize development and market entry strategies. Monthly progress updates will be shared via Deep Funding community channels/town halls.

As a reference model for the incubation, we recommend the following milestones:

  • Milestone 1 (Defining Purpose)
  • Milestone 2 (Understanding Customers & Environment)
  • Milestone 3 (Minimum Viable Product - MVP)
  • Milestone 4 (Market Entry & Growth)
  • Milestone 5 (Traction & Funding)

The incubator team should consist of:

  • Incubator Director

  • Portfolio Manager

  • AI Advisory Board

  • Marketing Team

  • Project Manager

Problem description

The AI hype is huge right now, but the truth is the market isn’t just talking—it’s actively searching for AI-driven products. The demand is real, but many projects struggle because they lack the right direction, mentorship, and support to bring their ideas to life, even with the funding in place.

Most grantees are developers, not founders, or they lack the business expertise. Deep Funding provides the funding, but doesn’t benefit from the products. We're here to change that.

Proposed Solutions

Create an incubator within Deep Funding to bridge the gap between idea generation, projects funded and market entry.

Key features:

  • Support batches of up to 12 high-potential projects

  • Eligibility includes previous grantees, hackathon winners and AI-related initiatives

  • Introductions to investors and partners

  • Six months of incubation: ideation refinement, mentorship, technical assistance, Go-To-Market strategy, pitch deck guidance, and prep for pitch events and meetings.
