Problem description

Current refugee aid distribution systems suffer from critical weaknesses: lack of transparency enabling misappropriation, inefficient resource allocation that doesn't match actual needs, challenges in verifying recipient identities, limited accountability in tracking aid delivery, data silos between organizations, vulnerability to corruption, & minimal agency for refugees. These issues result in wasted resources, & inadequate support for vulnerable populations displaced by conflict.

Proposed Solutions

AidChain will deploy a multilayered solution combining: 1) AI-driven needs assessment using multiple data sources to identify priority aid requirements; 2) Blockchain distribution tracking with smart contracts automating allocation; 3) Privacy-preserving digital identity for refugees; and 4) Community feedback mechanisms.
