    Insightful topic!       Yes it is my understanding as well that security is a big issue with IoT devices.      This is not my area of expertise but my impression is that this is quite mission critical infrastructure where tools, methods and practices should be chosen accordingly (also on the blockchain sides of the systems).     I assume that the outputs of the project would be open source tooling? Or are you going to make it some kind of service on the platform, or something else?    I like the idea that you are building a reference tool in this ideation stage so that there is something tangible to base the follow-up proposal on. At least, that would help me to understand better the nature of this work.      Are you going to add any information about other people working on the project?

      Thank you for reading and giving your feedback on the idea.  First we understand the concept requires critical infrastructure, which is why we are proposing this as an ideation phase to deepen our research on the feasibility and viability of the project considering required technical tools and expertise. But our team is optimistic to create an astonishing solution to the problem we are solving.  Secondly, we intend to focus on the possibility of the project through this ideation phase to decide whether to make it open source tooling or a service on SingularityNET, however, some parts of our methods may not be fully open source most especially in the aspect of users data management and protection. Thirdly, we have quite numbers of experts in each of the required fields to ensure the project execution comes to reality but only the information leaders of each of the will be added shortly.  Thank you

    Interesting idea but needs to be more specific

    This is an interesting proposal, because having decentralized IOT algorithms could be an interesting Usecase for singularity Net. 

    However, this proposal seems a bit too broad, and instead of focusing on General IOT would be good to see a focus on specific IOT use cases. 

    It would be good to explore initially a more specific integration for a specific use case, than this very general proposal.

    There is a mention of some algorithms being developed and explored, but there is no mention of the IOT use cases and specific solutions they would address. 

    That lack of specificity makes it harder to analyze the level of impact and the level of desirability for these solutions. 

    Would also like to have more information in the proposal about the Team, and also more information about Next Tren Lab itself.

    I think there is potential here in this idea but might be necessary to make it a little bit more specific and have an initial focus on a specific use case.

    Thank you for the feedback, and I appreciate your honest review, while the proposal must have lacked certain details that were too broad, it was mentioned somewhere in this proposal that during the ideation period, we will be focusing on some simple and basic IoTs devices to test the possibilities of the integrations of the two technologies, the possibility will now enhance our further narrow down to a specific niche and by extension broader applications in different niches.

    Our most intended focus use case now is a smart home, Imagine a smart home system called "EcoSmart Home" that uses decentralized AI to optimize energy consumption and enhance home security. This system integrates various IoT devices like smart thermostats, lights, security cameras, and door locks, all managed by decentralized AI algorithms.

    Energy Management: EcoSmart Home monitors the energy usage of all connected devices in real time. The decentralized AI analyzes this data and learns the household's energy consumption patterns. It autonomously adjusts the thermostat, dims lights, and switches off unused devices to minimize energy waste, leading to significant cost savings on utility bills.

    Enhanced Security: For security, EcoSmart Home uses decentralized AI to process video feeds from security cameras. The AI can detect unusual activities, like a person loitering near the front door, and immediately alert the homeowner and local authorities if necessary. The decentralized nature ensures that the data is processed locally on each device, enhancing privacy and reducing latency.

    Personalized User Experience: The system also personalizes the home environment based on individual preferences. For example, the AI can adjust lighting and temperature settings when it recognizes a family member entering a room, creating a comfortable and tailored living space.

    Privacy and Reliability: By leveraging decentralized AI, EcoSmart Home ensures that data is processed locally on each IoT device, improving privacy and security. This setup also enhances the system's reliability, as it doesn't rely on a central server that could become a single point of failure.

    As regards the team, Next Trend Labs is comprised of diverse team members in the feed of technology mainly Blockchain and AI developments, hardware developers, Data Scientists &vAnalyst, and researchers who are subsidiary part of Next Trend Labs Team.  We are a team of young individuals from an undergraduate University in Nigeria, the University of Lagos who seek to explore the market gap and leverage blockchain technology and artificial general intelligence potential to provide solutions and fill the gap.
