Introducing the DF Operations System: A New Tool for Transparency and Control

The Deep Funding Operations System is now available for community use, developed by the Operations Circle Automation Team – Rojo and Safaa – with input from DF operations. Although still in development, this platform addresses the growing need for effective financial oversight and Deep Funding performance. Designed as a central hub, the portal streamlines operational processes while enhancing transparency, empowering both internal teams and the broader community.

Purpose of the Operations Portal

The portal has two main goals:

  1. Project and Circle Tracking and Control: Even in its current form, the portal already provides a hub for tracking awarded project milestones and financial expenses. Along with the DF website, it consolidates information about ongoing projects, allowing stakeholders to monitor progress, and milestones, and keep an eye on project deliverables. As further functionalities are added, this tracking will become more comprehensive, ensuring effective oversight throughout the project lifecycle and Circles.
  2. Community Transparency: Transparency is a core function of the portal. With some dashboards already live, the community can monitor project milestones and track how funds are allocated across rounds and pools, whether for individual projects or to gain a bird’s-eye view of the entire program. While some features are still being built, the current version offers an initial look into Deep Funding’s internal operations, showcasing how resources are being used. This level of transparency is vital for maintaining community trust as the program continues to evolve.

Available Features

Despite ongoing development, several important functionalities are already accessible:

  • Project Milestone Tracking: The portal integrates with the existing Deep Funding website, providing updates on awarded project milestones. This allows all stakeholders to follow the progress in real-time, checking if deliverables are met and project goals are on track.
  • Financial Dashboards: These dashboards offer insights into how funds are being distributed across projects, allowing all, DF operations, project teams, and the community to follow the flow of resources.
  • Circle Member Activities (Coming Soon): Once fully developed, the portal will also include functionality for admin users to track Circle member activities and their expenses, showcasing tasks and related allocated resources, while enhancing visibility into operational spending.

Open Access for the Community

Although the portal is not yet complete, the current release already provides key functionalities that will help project teams and community members. This early launch allows us to begin engaging with the community, offering real-time insights into how projects are progressing and how expenses are being managed. Further updates will unlock even more features as development continues.

What’s Next?

The Operations Portal is still under active development, with additional features planned for future releases. The upcoming additions will expand functionality, allowing for more detailed project tracking, member accountability, and greater transparency. As the portal evolves, feedback from the community will help shape these enhancements, ensuring that it meets the needs of all stakeholders.
