This is an example idea to show you what an idea might look like. But be creative and share your ideas with the world!
There are a lot of real world experiments going on on Permaculture and related regenerative farming methods. There is an enormous amount of variables at play, including local (micro) climate, soil, type and age of the palnts and trees, Animal life, etc. All these variables interact with eachother in often unforeseen and unexpected ways. But there is also more and more information being collected. Wouldn't it be great to build a global database on Permaculture and related regenerative farming methods, so that we can learn more about positive and negative interactions and better predict turnout of a project over multiple years. This will help not only permaculature design decisions, but also investment options and even long term and far reaching political decisions.
There is data, but it is scattered and not well structured
We can collect data online in different sources, scrape websites if needed, clean data, structure it and store it in an accessible way, possibly a knowledge graph.
We can on one had set standards for good and relevant data, and provide tools for entering and collecting data, and on the other hand use AI tools that can manage fuzzy, unstructured data, and discover relation ships. By doing this on a larger scale than local projects, we may be able to get a lot of new insights!
