We want to raise awareness about Singularity Net and the Deep Funding Ecosystem with quality educational content. I will share these videos on my YouTube channel and I will create a specific Singularity Net playlist and a Deep Funding Playlist. I will share the videos created on multiple different platforms where there could be an interest in Singularity Net.

These videos should allow for a smooth and simple onboarding into Singularity Net and Deep Funding. Individuals will have everything they need in very simple terms to start actively participating in the ecosystem. Resources will be shared if they want to dive deeper and get even more specific knowledge.

Problem Description

Singularity NET is a very complex project and ecosystem, there are so many unique projects, with different purposes, that come together to enrich the Singularity Net Ecosystem and to provide important and different use cases.

Projects and ideas that combine to enrich the singularity NET marketplace and contribute to the development of AGI. This rich ecosystem, combined with the highly technical and revolutionary approach of Singularity Net makes the entire project hard for people to grasp and understand, and you won’t collaborate on something you don’t quite understand.

If we are honest, there is a huge amount of information, and the difficulty of finding good, simple, and understandable content acts as a barrier to entry for people to dive deeper into the Singularity Net rabbit hole.

There is a lack of simple resources, and there is no complete onboarding process that could guide people into Singularity Net. Most resources and video content that currently exist, are not focused on making viewers realize the importance of what is being built here, and the value it can create for the lives of those consuming these resources, without this it's very hard to motivate people to keep learning about Singularity Net. In addition, many resources that exist today are either too superficial or the content explained is too technical for most people to be able to understand, there is a need for simpler but correct explanations.

The same happens with Deep Funding, so many people don’t know about it, and many of them have misconceptions about Deep Funding, such as you cannot participate if you’re not an AI Expert.

Both Deep Funding and Singularity Net are also intimately connected, how can people participate in Deep Funding and give their contributions to Singularity Net if they are not familiar with Singularity Net?

I feel we’re lacking a simple and entertaining way to go through the most important information and guidelines about Deep Funding, for people to get a clear, fast, and general idea of how the fund works and understand whether they want to dive deeper and participate.

Solution Description

To facilitate the onboarding process onto Singularity Net and Deep Funding we need an easy onboarding process, that is free, understandable to the majority of people, and widely available.

For that, we will create two video playlists on YouTube.The First Playlist will be on Singularity Net and the second one all about Deep Funding. These playlists will facilitate the onboarding of new people into Singularity Net and Deep Funding. They will be filled with complete tutorials and informative videos, that will entice and educate people to dive deeper into Singularity Net and Deep Funding.

Besides YouTube, this proposal also entails an effort to share these videos on multiple platforms and communities with potential interest in Singularity Net and rely on the Singularity Net Community to comment, like, and share in order for the YouTube algorithm to suggest these videos to more individuals.

The videos created should explain in a simple, correct, and understandable way what is Singularity Net and Deep Funding to the public. They will be captivating and engaging and also call people to act and provide them with the appropriate links and resources to continue their onboarding journey and get involved in Singularity Net. 

More than that they should search to break any misconceptions about Singularity Net and Deep Funding. For example here are some of the most common misconceptions:

• Most people on Ethereum, Cardano, and Project Catalyst believe Deep Funding is only to fund New AI Projects for Singularity Net. There are plenty of people who don’t know that you have for example a marketing Category and other relevant categories where they can actually work, collaborate, give feedback, and vote, without having to be AI experts.

• AGI is seen by many as a spooky concept, it’s important to deconstruct this idea and explain why it is necessary to have an open-source artificial intelligence where everyone can collaborate, one that is transparent and governed by the rules of Blockchain

• Individuals are not aware that there is a singularity Net Marketplace with very interesting AI services available to be used.

   

With this Playlist, I hope to break these misconceptions, and also provide a reliable, understandable, and entertaining source of information to get people excited to explore more about Singularity Net. We will spread the great things that are being done by Singularity Net, and other projects in the Ecosystem

The videos will be published in my channel Decentralized Nation, a Channel focused on Blockchain and Decentralized Cryptocurrencies, but with most of my videos and audience being on Cardano. 

I believe that we can leverage the proximity between Singularity Net and Cardano to bring more people into Singularity, for example, I have been involved in Catalyst, and even created videos about Catalyst, and with these Playlists, we might be able to bring companies and individuals from that Ecosystem into Deep Funding.

I created the channel in the middle of the Bear Market, 8 months ago. We currently have around 218 subscribers and more than 14 000 views, and created more than 65 videos. We hope that this number will keep on growing, as it’s been growing since inception.

In addition to creating these videos, I will work to publish them in several relevant places and social platforms, such as Reddit, Twitter, Telegram, and Discord, wherever there is a possible interest in Singularity Net, in order to increase the reach of these videos. 

Milestone & Budget

Here is the timeline for a clearer breakdown of the time spent on the project. We will start as soon as the results for voting come out and we are successfully onboarded by Deep Funding:

I’m currently working for a company in London. The Entry Level Rate for video Content producers in the UK is 28 000£ per year, according to UK talent:

This translates into 13,26£. Converting into dollars we get 16,71$ at the current exchange rate.

From experience from the previous videos I created, I've estimated the tasks needed and the time spent on each of these tasks. I multiplied the time spent on each of these tasks by the hourly rate to get the cost per video, which is depicted below:

Average Cost per video:

• Research -> 7  hours x 16,71$ = 116,97$

• Script Writing -> 2 hour x 16,71$ = 33,42$

• Video Recording ->  1 hour x 16,71$ = 16,71$

• Video Editing -> 6  hours x 16,71$= 100,26$

• Thumbnail Creation, Description, Title, Youtube Tags -> 1 hour  x 16,71$= 16,71$

• Research Groups and Communities according to video and create Posts on Different Social Media to Reach more people (Twitter, Telegram Groups, Reedit Communities, Discord Groups) 3 hours x 16,71$ = 50,13$

Cost per video = 334,20$

The first two videos are already created so they will be added for Free to the proposal.

In total, we have 11 new videos being created representing a total cost of 3676,2$

I already acquired the recording equipment, as well as the software we leverage for the video production side. Those costs are fixed costs that will be taken on by myself, I will not add them to the proposal in order to make it more competitive and have a better cost-benefit for Singularity Net.

Measurable Goals

• Have a playlist about Singularity Net with 7 videos and a Deep Funding Playlist created and live on the channel with 6 videos.
• Achieve at least 400 views per video after 3 months from launch - This is what I believe can achieve on my own from previous videos created. Naturally, the ambition is for this number to be higher by sharing this content on several different socials, and by relying on the support of the Singularity Net Community. However, these metrics will naturally fluctuate a lot depending on the interest in Crypto and AI whenever these videos are published.
• Reach at least 3000 views for the Singularity Net Playlist after 3 months from completion.
• Reach at least 2400 views for the Deep Funding Playlist after 3 months from completion.
• Get at least 80 individuals directly onboarded into Singularity Net -  This kind of proposal has a huge effect that is hard to measure in terms of brand awareness, and reaching new individuals, but is often hard to measure this kind of reach. In this case, these 80 individuals we are speaking about are direct onboardings. We will add links in the description and comments and track how many individuals click on these links. We hope to have at least 80 different individuals diving deeper into Singularity Net and Deep Funding through these links. Of course, many individuals like myself opt to do more research on Google rather than clicking on description links, which needs to be considered because the number onboarded will be much higher than just 80.
• Post the videos in more than 20 target community groups and pages on different social media for extended reach. (Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc…)

The Singularity Net one will be focused on clearing misconceptions, approaching relevant topics, and introducing concepts, while the Deep Funding one is focused on onboarding people into Deep Funding.

For the Singularity Net Playlist, we have: 

Video 1 - Singularity Net Explained

• Duration: 30 min
• Summary: Video explaining the Singularity Net Project, vision, AGI, going through the roadmap and the teams. This video has already been created by me and has around 560 views. It will be added to the Playlist and we will promote the Playlist on Social Media and Communities.

Video 2 - Singularity Net Phase 2

• Duration: 30 min
• Summary: Video Explaining Phase 2 of Singularity Net, diving deeper into the roadmap, the progress and what has been achieved, and the Tokenomics of the project. This video has already been created and published and has around 720 views.  It will be added to the Playlist and we will promote the Playlist on Social Media and Communities.

Video 3 - What is AGI and why do we need it?

• Duration: 15 to 20 min
• Summary: Video diving deeper into AGI, explaining it in a simple and entertaining way, and mentioning the contribution and the role that Singularity Net is playing in the development of AGI.

Video 4 - How can we stop AI from rebelling against Humans?

• Duration: 10 to 15 min
• Summary: Informative video sharing some of the ideas from the brilliant minds in the Singularity Net Ecosystems to tackle this issue, and the role Singularity Net can have on it.

Video 5 - Diving deeper into the Singularity Net marketplace

• Duration: 20 min
• Summary: Video explaining the Singularity Net Marketplace and its role in the Ecosystem, and a quick tutorial going through it and showing people how to use it.

Video 6 - Comparing SIngularity Net to other AI projects

• Duration: 15 to 20 min
• Summary: Video points out the strengths of Singularity Net, when compared to other projects from the centralized world like Open AI, and from the decentralized world like Fetch.ai for example.

• Summary: Step-by-Step Tutorial showing how you can execute the different functions in Deep F?unding.

Video 3: What are the Best Decentralized Funds

• Duration: 15 min
• Summary: Video explaining decentralized funds, and providing a list of some of the best decentralized funds. Use it as a way to get a new audience of people interested in Decentralized funds and start Onboarding them into Deep Funding

Video 4: The Best ways to fund your AI Project?

• Duration: 15 min
• Summary: This Video shares several good opportunities for people to fund their AI projects and ideas, and presents Deep Funding as one of the opportunities, with a connection sent to the first video explaining what is Deep Funding. This will attract AI specialists and/or companies looking for funding.

Video 5 and video 6 - Deep Funding Support

• Duration: 15 min each video.
• Summary: These videos should be created whenever a new funding round comes out, make a step-by-step guide explaining the whole process, to support the community and proposers, and also update them on any improvements. This will likely need to be divided into two videos, one more in the beginning and one closer to the voting time. These videos should be a mix of a tutorial showing how to do things, but also providing relevant explanations and information about what people need to know.

In all the videos we are creating, for both series, the focus will be on explaining technology, having content that is reliable and interesting, and content that focuses on delivering value to the viewer, and making them understand how Singularity Net and Deep Funding can help improve the world and their live.

Risk and Mitigation

There is a limited amount of risk, considering that I’ve been able to deliver constant videos on projects on the ecosystem, and I’ve created two videos on Singularity Net. This means I’m pretty familiar with Singularity and with the difficult task of understanding it all and breaking it into simpler steps. 

However, it’s always important to reflect on possible risks and shortcomings and even if you have the experience, search to mitigate them to the best of your abilities. That said these are the main risks that might affect the value and impact this proposal can have:

• Veracity and reliability of the Content Shared - It’s really important while simplifying the content to make sure that everything makes sense and it’s actually correct and not misleading. After all, it can be easy to confuse ourselves while learning about complex topics. For that reason, I’m giving myself some generous time to do careful research and mitigate that risk. In addition, I will look to establish connections with experienced and knowledgeable individuals in the community to ask questions whenever in doubt and get their feedback on my explanations to make sure the information is as reliable as possible. We will leverage these individuals and the community to get feedback and improve on the content created. 

•  Reduced retention of the videos - One problem that usually arises when creating videos about complex topics is the lack of retention. It’s common for people to drop out because it’s just too complicated or boring. To mitigate this risk, the goal is to simplify complex topics, into more simpler and entertaining explanations. We will also create videos, and scripts focused on the viewers' perspective and in providing value to their life. If they find they can get value, viewers are more willing to pay attention and stay for longer because it will be worth it. In addition, besides having videos about Singularity Net and Deep Funding we are also creating videos on related topics and questions that can be more interesting for viewers, and attract them indirectly to get to know more about this solution that is Singularity Net.

• Limited reach of the content - It’s a possibility that this content won’t have the reach it deserves. The reach we all want and expect. But there are some measures that are being taken to reduce this risk.

  1) We are promoting these videos on several communities and social media platforms where there might be interest in Singularity Net, AI, and Blockchain related topics

  2) We will be engaging with the Singularity Net community, and ask for support in sharing, commenting, and liking the videos. If we manage to have your support and the support of other members of the community, we will for sure reach more people than we ever imagined it would be possible! The success and impact of these videos also depend on you

  3) We are creating videos on related topics to Singularity Net and tapping into similar communities that could be more easily integrated into Singularity Net and Deep Funding. This broader reach in these videos should also result in a broader audience watching them and learning more about Singularity Net.
