Our solution makes farm status and recommendation system easily available to all farmers, developers etc who needs it without the need for sophisticated tools.

Service Details

The computer vision-based system we have developed is compatible with most smartphones, the system is developed using Tensor Flow lite. Tensor Flow lite is very compatible with mobile, and this makes it very suitable for what we developed.
The model is designed to be compatible and used with most devices that most farmers and average persons normally use. This is the simple algorithm of how it works
(i)The farmer or user takes the image of the farm
(ii) The image is automatically uploaded into our system
(iii) Our system analyses and processes the farm image
(iv) From the farm image, our system gives the correct status of the farm
(v) The status of the farm can be either good or bad
(vi) If bad the system analyses the farm to determine if it predicts if it is pest infestation, disease infestation, lack of water, lack of nutrients, etc
(vii) Based on the prediction our system automatically gives recommendations on actions to be taken on the farm
(viii) The recommendation can be adapted to different languages


N/B: The system is already developed for use by Virtual farm for our vertical farm systems, we will only adapt it a bit for open farms
