Overview

This proposal aims to develop a modular, scalable, and privacy-aware reputation system to improve Deep Funding’s voting process by shifting the focus from monetary investments to contributions and engagement. The goal is to create a fairer decision-making mechanism where users are rewarded for active participation, expertise, and valuable contributions, rather than solely for financial backing. Our approach is to use a microservices-based architecture that allows for independent data collection, reputation scoring, and analytics. The system will include an initial suite of microservices and a user-friendly interface that enables voters to configure how reputation scores are calculated.

The goal of this project is to develop functionality that will enable modular microservices that support data collection, scoring, and analytics functions as part of a reputation and voting weight system. This should include an architecture to allow for the integration of future microservices, an initial suite of key microservices, and a user interface that allows users to find and utilize various configurations of the microservices.

Milestone 1 - System Architecture & API Design

Description

The foundation of the project will be built, mapping out how everything fits together. This includes designing a system that allows new features to be added easily and ensuring different parts can communicate smoothly.

Milestone 2 - Building the Core Microservices

Description

The essential services that track user engagement, proposals, voting history, and blockchain data will be developed. These will be the building blocks of the reputation scoring system.

- Functional tools to track proposals, votes, and blockchain activity - A scoring system that calculates reputation based on real data - A set of APIs that allow other tools to pull reputation scores
