Project details

This project aims to conduct 15 workshops on DeepFunding at universities and innovation centers in Brazil's five main regions: North, Northeast, Central-West, Southeast, and South. These events will preferably be in-person to maximize impact and direct interaction with participants. However, if travel restrictions or natural disasters, such as the recent floods in Rio Grande do Sul, prevent physical access, the corresponding workshops will be adapted to an online format. The project also includes the creation of a Portuguese-language portal and an active Twitter profile, complemented by a periodic newsletter to keep the community informed and engaged with constant updates on opportunities, tips, and success stories related to DeepFunding.

Project Description:

In-Person and Online Workshops: We plan to conduct 15 workshops over six months at universities and innovation centers across Brazil. These workshops will be designed to be highly interactive, providing a unique opportunity for participants to learn directly about DeepFunding, including its benefits, operations, and proposal submission processes. In-person workshops will allow for dynamic and direct interaction, while online versions will ensure accessibility in case of travel restrictions.

Portuguese-Language Portal: The dedicated Portuguese-language portal will serve as an information hub for everyone interested in DeepFunding. Users will find educational resources, detailed guides on how to use the platform, success stories, and information about future workshops and events. This portal will be regularly updated to ensure that all information is current and relevant.

Social Media Engagement: An active Twitter profile will be created to complement the portal, providing a platform for quick updates, community interactions, and news dissemination. Social media will be used to promote events, share useful tips, and highlight success stories of projects funded by DeepFunding, keeping the community constantly informed and engaged.

Periodic Newsletter: The periodic newsletter will be an essential component to keep participants and the broader community informed about the latest DeepFunding news. Sent regularly, the newsletter will include updates on new funding opportunities, tips for proposal writing, and success stories of funded projects. This will help strengthen the community, promoting a continuous flow of information and support.

Expected Impact: The project aims to democratize access to innovative financing, allowing students, academics, and entrepreneurs from all regions of Brazil to turn their ideas into reality. Through workshops and online resources, we hope to significantly increase the number of high-quality projects submitted to DeepFunding, fostering a more inclusive and diverse innovation ecosystem.

Sustainability and Continuous Engagement: The creation of a robust portal and strategic use of social media will ensure that the community remains engaged and informed even after the workshops conclude. The newsletter will serve as a continuous communication channel, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing among community members.

Existing resources

Yes, we will use existing technologies and our own resources to support the execution of the project. For example, we will use a MacBook Pro Apple 14", M3, to prepare materials, manage the portal and social media, and conduct online workshops. This self-owned resource will reduce the need for additional funding for technological equipment

Hey there. Just want to ask how you plan on ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for participants from diverse backgrounds, and maintaining engagement and interest over time ?

The project will be conducted in Brazilian Portuguese. Although there are differences in Portuguese from different countries, everyone can understand the content perfectly despite these variations. To include the specific idiomatic differences of each Portuguese-speaking country, we would need a larger budget to hire translators from each region, which would make the project very expensive. However, as mentioned, choosing Brazilian Portuguese ensures that all participants can effectively and inclusively understand the content. Additionally, we are committed to maintaining engagement and interest over time through relevant and interactive content, tailored to the needs and feedback of the participants.

Materials in Portuguese will widen DF reach.

15 in-person and online workshops across universities/innovation centers in Brazil will hopefully onboard lots of new talent into the Deep Funding ecosystem. Brazil is an important market and developing learning materials for students in Portuguese will widen our reach. A larger team may be needed to deliver the milestones.

    Proposal to attract talented people

This proposal is based in Brazil but I believe will attract many talented individuals throughout the Americas. That is part of the impact this proposal brings. Once you attract capable people, doing difficult things will become easier. I encourage DaniAlves and his team to do this (although I don't know who the other team members are yet).

Can attract new talents from Brazil and beyond

I affirm that conducting workshops on DeepFunding at universities and innovation centers across Brazil represents a proactive effort to engage with and educate the local community about SingularityNET's mission and opportunities. I believe by organizing 15 workshops across Brazil's main regions and adapting to online formats when necessary, this project will ensure broad accessibility and maximizes impact on SNET.

I believe on a larger scale, I believe this project will enhance SNET visibility and outreach, attracting new talent and potential collaborators from Brazil and beyond.

From a general perspective, this project has the potential to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within Brazil's academic and entrepreneurial ecosystem. By providing education and resources on DeepFunding, the workshops empower participants to explore AI-driven funding opportunities and develop innovative solutions that align with SingularityNET's goals.

    Workshops- Universities/Innovation Centers: Brazil

The proposal plans to organize 15 workshops over six months at universities and innovation centers across Brazil. These workshops will be designed to be highly interactive, providing a unique opportunity for participants to learn first-hand about DeepFunding, including its benefits, operations, and proposal submission process.
I feel that they should add a summary of the problem and solution of the proposal so that readers can more easily understand the content of this proposal.

DeepFunding workshops for the Brazilian community

The proposal aims to raise awareness while promoting the SingularityNET brand to the Brazilian community through 15 in-person and online workshops, portals, and Twitter. This proposal has a very high chance of success in attracting AI developers and potential users.

    1. Feasibility:
    - Organizing workshops on DeepFunding at universities and innovation centers seems feasible due to the team's strong expertise and deep experience in the field of cryptocurrency communication and education.
    - However, successfully organizing 15 workshops in different regions in Brazil can be a challenge for the group, requiring the group to have a really thorough and clear organizational plan, and allocate tasks accordingly. suitable for personnel. However I have not seen the team's detailed plan, the implementation plan does not have implementation time and specific tasks in each milestone.
    - Proposal to have a clear and reasonable budget allocation.
    2. Viability:
    - The project meets the high demand for AI technology in the Brazilian market and is in line with SingularityNET's mission of attracting new users and developers. Organizing live and online events will help attract a variety of participants, in addition, the group will also ensure that the community can regularly update information through the portal and Twitter.
    - The success of this project depends on attracting many people to attend the workshop and managing and building the village portal well. The team identified the exact target audience for this proposal and came up with a suitable solution.
    3. Desire:
    - The Brazilian community is a large community with many potential users and developers who are passionate about AI technology, so they are looking forward to educational products such as quality seminars to help them learn more about SingularityNet.
    - Proposed group seminars must highlight the potential benefits that SingularityNet and Deepfunding bring to attract more people to pay attention and participate in the community.
    4. Useful:
    - Proposal to provide in-person and online seminars, information portals and Twitter
    - The project has the impact of improving knowledge and creating an environment for the community to exchange and learn about SingularityNET, but its impact on attracting community participation in Deepfunding is not certain.
    - The team should provide specific quantitative data or measures using qualitative methods to see the effectiveness of the project.

Hello José, thank you very much for your comment! The online workshop will only take place if we face any impediment to going to the location in person, such as the current environmental tragedy in Rio Grande do Sul, as the airport will be closed for a long time. However, we cannot miss the opportunity to offer the workshop in the region, especially since it is in a moment of reconstruction and has many innovation centers.

Regarding logistics, it is manageable as we will conduct the workshops outside our region (São Paulo) on a case-by-case basis. As I was a university professor at one of the best colleges in Brazil, I have access to all the major universities across the country, and the organization is done directly with them, who will promote and organize it among their students. In turn, innovation centers in Brazil are open and receptive to mobilizing their community.

Do you have any suggestions for other metrics we should add to our project?

    Proven sustainable development

This project has a high potential to educate and communicate about DeepFunding, which in turn can attract more developers to use SingularityNET's tools and services to deploy AI solutions, contributing to the development and platform innovation across multiple sectors. Increasing number of AI projects developed with DeepFunding support will drive adoption of the SingularityNET platform, as more developers choose to use its tools and services to deploy AI solutions . I see, Some limitations may include ensuring that online workshops and resources are strong enough to attract and retain participants, as well as facing the challenge of transitioning from education and communication into practical action and widespread application.
