Africa’s linguistic diversity is deeply interconnected, yet AI models fail to capture this unity. Many African languages are not just phonetic but symbolic, encoding philosophy and collective wisdom. The Mandombe script structurally unifies Bantu and indigenous languages, yet AI-driven NLP has ignored its potential. This proposal establishes a Pan-African AI & Language Preservation Hub to explore Mandombe as a universal script, develop Symbolic AI for African languages, and redefine AI as Adaptive Intelligence—rooted in ancestral wisdom. Using Kikongo as a case study, we’ll pioneer AI-driven African language models for cultural and linguistic preservation.
We are seeking individuals to lead and manage Deep Funding Community Hub initiatives. These initiatives aim to establish and foster decentralized Deep Funding Communities centered around specific topics or areas of interest where a dedicated community would be valuable.
Examples of potential hubs include:

This involves engaging new members, providing information, sharing best practices for submitting funding proposals and building strong, collaborative communities. Regular online meetings will also be an integral part of these initiatives to connect, grow, and support the community.
