Overview

We designed a dApp infrastructure that enables users to store their digital data on the Internet in the Blockchain for them to manage who, what, and on which terms their digital data is used. We also designed this as a Marketplace for companies to access verified trusted information for product development and commercial purposes. We want to re-establish trust in digital interactions and provide a fair digital ecosystem for everyone.

Full Project Proposal

Yes

Please explain how this future proposal will help our decentralized AI platform grow and how this ideation phase will contribute to that proposal.

How we develop technology is crucial to how we, as individuals and society, will interact with it: we wan ethical and decentralized technologies that would enlarge human development in a fair way. With AI developments, we know we have now a powerful tool that will take us far. But how are those models fed? With data. How is that data gathered? So far, as data is spread in the internet, nobody knows-cares-have even thought about it. Reasonable, as teams were building the tool first. Now is the moment to fix the rest: let's build AI with data ethically shared.

Our infrastructure could be use for User's to actively participate on the DataMarket sharing their information with real consensus for ethical teams to build truly positive descentralize AI tools fairly.

Data generators and owners are providing the basic nutrients for decentralized AI to grow. Our model technically integrates them into the process of building, which anyone can use in the future to develop ethical AI marketplace.

Clarify what outcomes (if any) will stop you from submitting a complete proposal in the next round.

The only situation in which we wouldn't be submitting a complete proposal on the next round would be that the project won't raise the minimum capital required to build the infrastructure needed, therefore the project would not be ongoing either.

The core problem we are aiming to solve

Natural persons (Users) are completely excluded from the Data Market (AdTech + Data Trading + Data Collecting Market) while being the real owners and generators of the main asset traded on a USD400millions industry.

Privacy and Data regulations are increasing worldwide, making it difficult for companies to access real quality data for product dev or commercial purposes.

Our specific solution to this problem

A dApp infrastructure that enables users to download their data from Data Collectors (as Google, Meta, Amazon, etc...) and store it on Blockchain, managing in a Direct and Active way who, what and on which terms access their digital information getting an instant reward in tokens paid by companies if sharing it. Our dream is to make browsing a universal source of income.

Companies can access trusted, verified digital information for product development or commercial purposes, while being certain they are being compliant with worldwide regulations and improving their branding strategy by building privacy-first customer relationships.

Our dApp could be used with our brand or as a white-label integration to enlarge the positioning outcome.

Project details

Guard Hawk: A Data Consent System (DCS)

Guard Hawk proposes a blockchain-based platform, the DCS, that empowers users (DataPioneers) to control their personal data and benefit from its ethical monetization.

Key Principles

  • Privacy by Design: Guard Hawk prioritizes data privacy through encryption, decentralized storage, and user-controlled access.

  • Total Control for DataPioneers: Users have complete control over their data, including consent management and opt-out options from our system or additional services of opting-out from external data bases, including also legal representation in case of data misuse.

  • Shared Benefit: Both companies and users gain value. Companies access verified data, while users receive incentives for sharing it.

  • Constant Evolution: Guard Hawk strives to continuously improve the platform by integrating new data sources and functionalities.

Value Proposition for Companies

  • Verified and Consented Data: Access a marketplace of personal data with explicit user consent, ensuring compliance with regulations and data quality.

  • Improved Reputation: Demonstrate commitment to ethical data practices, enhancing brand image and customer trust thought privacy-frist customer relationships.

  • Reduced Non-Compliance Risk: Simplify data privacy compliance and minimize the risk of penalties.

Technology Stack

  • Blockchain: Provides a secure and transparent foundation for the DCS infrastructure.

  • dNFTs (ERC-721): Unique tokens represent each DataPioneer, acting as a digital vault for managing personal data.

    • Modified Transfer function

    • Separated Owner and User functions

    • Metadata link to DePIN servers through oracle functions.

  • Chainlink Oracles: Connect the platform to external sources (in our case, the Descentralized Storage Protocol), enabling retrieval of user information and cost efficiency update of information (in the dynamic context of NFts)

  • Proprietary APIs: Facilitate data download from Data Sources (like Meta, Google, Amazon) encryption, and storage within the decentralized storage protocol.

    • This includes APIs that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) to analyze, evaluate, re-write websites' Terms and Conditions in comprehensible language and project the potential consequences of sharing information in order for Users to understand what they are really signing for.

  • Decentralized Storage Protocol: Ensures data availability for authorized companies while maintaining user control over access.

  • Zero-Knowledge Proof Verification Protocol: Protects user privacy by verifying data relevance to company requests without revealing the actual data.

  • Airdrops (ERC-20 Smart Contracts): Automate incentive distribution to DataPioneers based on consented data access.

  • Guard Hawk Utility Token (GHUT): Enables value exchange within the platform and future platform services.

  • Trainable LLM Service: Companies can train LLMs in-app on user-provided data to gain insights and unlock further value.

Hi you present this proposal as though it were meant for the New project pool, two things here1. The goal of ideation is to prep research for projects that will go into the New project pool in next round, your proposal does not state what will be put in the new project pool next round2. It does not state an explicit AI service which will come out of this

Hi Ubio, I think is also possible to participate if you are providing growth for the existing services in the Singularity network, which we would as we are considering to integrate to LLM Singularity provider. On the first point, Ideation also considers projects that have not yet develop a prototype or functional solution, or not have traction yet, I was advise to apply to this category after explaining my project to one of the community managers.

If theres a specific LLM you intend to use that is in the marketplace it would be nice you state it upfront just saying LLM doesn't prove anything as it raises questions to if you are the one crating the LLM or there's an existent one, everything should be spelt out. Also it would be best you clearly state what the future proposal will be that will get onboarded to the market place. I agree that this proposal is a good fit for ideation but you have to state somethings explicitly not covertly as is the case right now

Is written on the Project Longer Description and also on the section "Please explain how this future proposal will help our decentralized AI platform grow and how this ideation phase will contribute to that proposal." :)I hope this clear up your confusions

Hi,  There is indeed a big change coming in this regard. A piece of data has never been an asset while a pile of data has. Due to the lack of infrastructure, the market mechanism hasn’t been able to work properly.    Implementing your vision would incentivize one’s choices towards more meaningful decisions and recording actions that one believes are valuable. Importantly, it encourages being unique and different, being oneself. As you say that your dream is to make browsing a universal source of income, I’d expand that statement and make living a universal source of income.    Do you have any potential preliminary candidates for technology you might be applying in the project? I’m a huge fan of the Midnight protocol for its privacy preserving smart contract capability although it hasn’t reached its full maturity quite yet. Regarding AI integrations, the proposal currently states that LLMs will play a key part in the project. Even though this is still an ideation stage proposal I hope you could try to clarify a bit some potential ways they could be used on the user and the enterprise-user side.    Anyway, you are working on fixing a critical bug in our social systems and I wish you a lot of success!

Dear Henriq, thank you so much for your insightful comment!I've been trying to upload a longer description of the project were we explain a bit about the technology stack we thought on apply, but the platform doesn't seem to like that much it seems jajaja Even though, nothing is written is stone as it says the saying and improvements suggestions are more than welcome. I'm not aware about Midnight protocol, Im going to check it. Thanks. Also, you are right. The amount of data is not only generated by browsing now a days but living and breathing even.

It has potential but requires careful planning

the Mayan voice-to-text translation project has potential but requires careful planning and execution. Focusing on user needs, collaboration with Mayan communities, and clear metrics for success can increase the project's value. While the lack of existing competition is an advantage, it's important to consider how the project will compete with established translation services that might adapt to include Mayan.

This project proposes an AI model to translate spoken Mayan into written Mayan and Spanish. Here's a breakdown of its strengths and weaknesses:

    Feasibility:

    • Moderate-High: Existing AI models can be adapted for speech recognition and translation, but require linguistic expertise for Mayan.
    • Strengths: The project leverages existing technologies and focuses on a specific, well-defined task.
    • Weaknesses: Gathering sufficient training data in spoken Mayan and addressing complex Mayan grammar might pose challenges.

    Viability:

    • Moderate: Success depends on securing funding, acquiring linguistic expertise, and demonstrating the model's accuracy and usefulness.
    • Strengths: The project aligns with Mexican law and potentially targets a large market (government, education).
    • Weaknesses: Competition from existing translation services (even if not voice-based) and limited initial user base for Mayan translation need to be considered.

    Desirability:

    • Moderate-High: Mayan communities and institutions seeking to comply with language rights could find this valuable.
    • Strengths: Empowering Mayan speakers and promoting cultural preservation are strong selling points.
    • Weaknesses: User needs and preferences for translation tools (e.g., mobile apps, web interfaces) need to be understood.

    Usefulness:

    • Moderate-High: The project can be very useful if it delivers accurate and user-friendly translation tools.
    • Strengths: Improved communication and access to services for Mayan speakers can have significant social benefits.
    • Weaknesses: Long-term impact on language revitalization and user adoption of the AI model requires evaluation.

    Additional Points:

    • Collaboration with Mayan linguists and communities is crucial for data collection, model development, and user testing.
    • Focusing on a mobile app or user-friendly interface can increase accessibility and adoption.
    • Demonstrating the model's accuracy and addressing any potential bias in translations is important for user trust.

Here are some strengths of this project:

    • Addresses a critical need for Mayan language revitalization and promotes cultural preservation.
    • Leverages existing AI technologies for speech recognition and translation with a focus on a specific language.
    • Targets a potentially large market (government, education) aligned with Mexican law on indigenous languages.

Here are some challenges to address:

    • Gathering sufficient and diverse training data for spoken Mayan and addressing the complexities of Mayan grammar.
    • Securing funding, acquiring linguistic expertise, and demonstrating the model's accuracy and usefulness compared to existing translation services.
    • Understanding user needs and preferences for translation tools (mobile apps, web interfaces) and ensuring user adoption within the Mayan community.

    Protecting everyone\'s data is urgent!

Data protection is the protection of users. Data protection is probably one of the biggest challenges we face as a global village. The digitalization of the world has harvested an enormous amount of data, and finding a way to care for and protect that data is undoubtedly a market that has still enormous potential. This project represents a very interesting opportunity for the SingularityNET ecosystem. The team is solid and experienced, led by technicians and experts in the area. Funding this project in its ideation stage will give the entire SingularityNET Community the chance to accompany and guide the project from its very first steps. Congratulations to the team for this wonderful proposal!

Compelling solution to change the data economy.

The Guard Hawk project addresses a crucial gap in the data market by empowering users with control over their data. Moreover, The technology stack is well thought out. Regarding Desirability, It not only provides a new revenue stream for individuals but also offers companies access to high-quality, verified data, enhancing their product development and commercial strategies.  The success of the project hinges on raising sufficient capital to build the required complex infrastructure, but I am confident that with the team's expertise that will be completely possible!

I think it solves a real problem

The proposal is interesting from the perspective of solving a real problem for all internet product users. On the other hand, I think the data acquisition part is a bit complicated, as public APIs offer data of little use. Nonetheless, it’s great that they can secure the necessary funding and put it to the test. Good luck, and I hope they achieve their proposed objectives.
