We are seeking individuals to lead and manage Deep Funding Community Hub initiatives. These initiatives aim to establish and foster decentralized Deep Funding Communities centered around specific topics or areas of interest where a dedicated community would be valuable.

Examples of potential hubs include:

  • Sustainability Community Hub
  • Women in AI Community Hub
  • Africa Community Hub
  • Asia Community Hub
  • French-Speaking Hub.
  • Among many other options

The primary objective of these Community Hubs is to expand Deep Funding in a decentralized way. This involves engaging new members, providing information, sharing best practices for submitting funding proposals and building strong, collaborative communities. Regular online meetings will also be an integral part of these initiatives to connect, grow, and support the community.

Milestone 1 - Preparation & Setup

Description

Build the foundational digital infrastructure and establish initial community partnerships to support localized education in decentralized technologies.

Deliverables

Digital Channels: Launch dedicated groups on Telegram Discord and WhatsApp. Community Registration: Achieve at least 100 community member sign-ups. Partnerships: Formalize collaborations with a minimum of 3 local academic institutions or tech clubs. Operational Roadmap: Develop and publish a comprehensive operational plan and event calendar.

Minimum 100 registrations secured. Three or more formalized partnerships in place. A clear, published operational roadmap that outlines upcoming events and milestones.

Milestone 2 - Community Engagement & Training

Description

Launch localized educational programs and community events to build practical skills and increase engagement.

Deliverables

Educational Events: Host 12 weekly events (workshops hackathons training sessions) across target cities (Kaduna Zaria Kano Ibadan Lagos). Multilingual Content: Develop and pilot AI and blockchain training modules in local languages (starting with Yoruba and Hausa). Mentorship Program: Initiate an ambassador and mentorship scheme to support ongoing community learning.

Success Criterion

Achieve a 20% monthly increase in new registrations. Consistent event participation of at least 50 attendees per session. Generate at least 5 quality proposals or project ideas from event participants.

Milestone 3 - Scaling & Sustainability

Description

Expand program reach refine content based on community feedback and establish a plan for long-term sustainability and revenue generation.

Deliverables

Flagship Event: Organize a major innovation event in one key city to showcase community projects and achievements. Expanded Partnerships: Engage with 3 additional academic or tech organizations to widen the network. Sustainability Report: Develop and submit a comprehensive sustainability and impact report that includes a roadmap for future revenue (e.g. through consulting paid workshops certifications).

Success Criterion

Successful flagship event with strong engagement (50+ attendees). A total of 6 engaged organizations (including those from Milestones 1 and 2). A detailed sustainability roadmap and impact report completed and disseminated, demonstrating clear paths to continued growth and financial viability.
