We are seeking individuals to lead and manage Deep Funding Community Hub initiatives. These initiatives aim to establish and foster decentralized Deep Funding Communities centered around specific topics or areas of interest where a dedicated community would be valuable.

Examples of potential hubs include:

  • Sustainability Community Hub
  • Women in AI Community Hub
  • Africa Community Hub
  • Asia Community Hub
  • French-Speaking Hub.
  • Among many other options

The primary objective of these Community Hubs is to expand Deep Funding in a decentralized way. This involves engaging new members, providing information, sharing best practices for submitting funding proposals and building strong, collaborative communities. Regular online meetings will also be an integral part of these initiatives to connect, grow, and support the community.

Milestone 1 - Community Building and Training (February–March)

Description

This milestone focuses on establishing a strong foundation for the Deep Funding Community Hub within Enactus ABU. The goal is to raise awareness about Deep Funding, engage members, and equip them with the necessary skills to develop quality proposals. This phase will leverage Enactus ABU’s existing structure of weekly meetings to deliver impactful training and workshops. 1. Weekly training sessions on proposal writing, leadership, and sustainability. 2. Launch event introducing Deep Funding’s mission to the community. 3. Proposal development workshops and mentorship sessions. Budget Allocation: $3,000 Weekly Events (8 sessions): $1,200 Logistics and venue: $200 Feeding and refreshments: $400 Training materials and toolkits: $300 Marketing and promotions: $100 Flagship Event: Sustainable and Innovation Program: $1,600 Venue rental and logistics: $600 Event materials and toolkits: $400 Feeding and refreshments: $300 Marketing and guest facilitation: $100 Technology and Administrative Support: $800 Software for virtual events: $200 Coordination and communication tools: $200 Miscellaneous logistics: $200

Deliverables

1. 8 well-structured weekly training sessions conducted. 2. Launch event successfully organized with at least 200 participants. 3. A minimum of 10 proposal drafts submitted by members for review. 4. Training materials, toolkits, and resources distributed to all participants. Establish decentralized hubs, train members on proposal development, and conduct weekly sessions. 1. Focused on proposal writing, leadership development, and sustainability. 2. Interactive workshops with group activities and real-time feedback. 3. Introduction to Deep Funding’s mission and how students can participate. 4. Inspirational talks from Enactus alumni and entrepreneurs. 5. Proposal Development Workshops 6. Hands-on sessions guiding members on how to draft high-quality funding proposals.

Success Criterion

Success Metrics: 1. Attendance Rate: At least 85% participation from our 100+ active members per session. 2. Proposal Readiness: 10+ proposal drafts submitted for review by the end of the milestone. 3. Engagement Level: Active participation in Q&A sessions, group discussions, and online feedback forms (targeting a 60% response rate).

Milestone 2 - Scaling Community Engagement (April–May)

Description

This milestone aims to deepen community involvement by hosting large-scale events, fostering partnerships, and enhancing the proposal development process. The focus will be on business development, innovation, and aligning projects with Deep Funding’s priorities. A mini-innovation challenge will also be introduced to stimulate creative problem-solving among members. Key Activities: Business Development and Innovation Program for entrepreneurship skills. Deep Funding integration sessions to align proposals with funding goals. On-campus Mini Innovation Challenge to encourage practical solutions. Budget Allocation: $3,600 Weekly Events (8 sessions): $1,200 Logistics and venue: $400 Feeding and refreshments: $480 Training materials and toolkits: $300 Marketing and promotions: $100 Flagship Event: Business Development and Innovation Program: $1,800 Venue rental and logistics: $800 AI and technology toolkits: $500 Feeding and refreshments: $300 Marketing and guest facilitation: $200 Technology and Administrative Support: $400 Software for innovation challenges: $200 Miscellaneous logistics: $200

Success Criterion

Event Participation: Minimum of 1000 participants across all events and workshops. 1. Proposal Submission: At least 10 fully developed proposals submitted for funding. 2. Social Media Reach: Achieve 1,000+ engagements (likes, shares, comments) across digital platforms. 3. Partnership Development: Form 2 new collaborations with external organizations. 4. Skill Development: Pre- and post-event assessments showing a 30% improvement in participants’ knowledge.

Milestone 3 - Long-Term Sustainability and Impact (June–July)

Description

The final milestone is dedicated to ensuring the sustainability of the community hub and maximizing long-term impact. This phase will feature high-profile events like the Innovation Challenge on AI & Technology and the Sustainability & Health Program. Additionally, top-performing proposals from earlier phases will enter an incubation program to refine them for greater success. Key Activities: 1.Host the Innovation Challenge on AI & Technology and the Sustainability & Health Program. 2. Establish a mentorship and incubation program for top proposals. 3. Strengthen partnerships and ensure continued community engagement.

Deliverables

1. 2 major flagship events organized, attracting diverse participants (students, professionals, industry leaders). 2. 5 proposals successfully incubated and refined for funding submission. 3. Comprehensive mentorship program with about 7 industry experts involved. 4. Reports and documentation of all activities to track impact and outcomes.

Budget

Success Criterion

1. Event Participation: At least 100 attendees across flagship events. 2. Proposal Success: 5 proposals successfully funded or shortlisted for grants. 3. Innovation Impact: 3+ projects integrated with sustainability or tech solutions showcased at events. 4. Community Retention: 90% retention rate of members engaged since Milestone 1. 5. Partnership Expansion: Establish 3+ new partnerships to support ongoing activities.
