The core problem we are aiming to solve

The core problem we are aiming to solve is the challenge new community members (in this case, specifically from the LATAM community) face in effectively joining, understanding, and engaging with the SingularityNET ecosystem.

Specifically, new members often struggle with a lack of accessible resources, navigating the vast amount of information available about SingularityNET, developing the necessary skills for Deep Funding participation, and overcoming language barriers, which have particularly hindered more active participation from individuals in the LATAM region.

The DFA (Deep Funding Academy) addresses these issues by serving as a comprehensive entry point for new SingularityNET community members. It offers centralized resources, structured guidance, and skill-building opportunities to help newcomers integrate into the community, understand SingularityNET’s vision, and become proficient in participating in Deep Funding initiatives.

Our specific solution to this problem

Our solution to address the challenges faced by new community members from the LATAM region is the creation of the Deep Funding Academy LATAM. This initiative will provide educational resources, guidance for community engagement, skill development programs, community integration and support, as well as feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement in Spanish and Portuguese. The expected outcomes include increased engagement, enhanced skills and participation, and stronger community bonds within the SingularityNET ecosystem.

Project details

Our specific solution to address the challenges faced by new community members, particularly those from the LATAM region, is the creation of the Deep Funding Academy LATAM. This initiative will be a Spanish-language version of the existing Deep Funding Academy (DFA, https://deepfunding.academy/), tailored to meet the unique needs of the growing LATAM community within the SingularityNET ecosystem.

Key Components of the Solution:

1. Localized Educational Resources:

  • Develop and provide a comprehensive suite of educational materials in Spanish and Portuguese. These resources will cover the fundamentals of SingularityNET, its vision, and the mechanics of Deep Funding.

  • These materials will include videos, articles, tutorials, and interactive content designed to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.

2. Guidance for Community Engagement:

  • Create a structured onboarding program that guides new members through their initial steps in the SingularityNET community.

  • Offer mentorship and support to help newcomers understand how to navigate the platform and engage effectively with existing community members and initiatives.

3. Skill Development Programs:

  • Design and implement training programs focused on developing the skills necessary for active participation in Deep Funding.

  • These programs will include workshops, webinars, and hands-on projects that provide practical experience and build confidence in new members.

4. Community Integration and Support:

  • Establish a dedicated support system to assist new members with any questions or issues they encounter as they integrate into the community.

  • Facilitate regular meetups, both virtual and physical, to foster a sense of community and belonging among LATAM members.

5. Feedback and Continuous Improvement:

  • Implement mechanisms to gather participant feedback to improve the DFA LATAM offerings continuously.

  • Regularly update and expand the resources and training programs based on the evolving needs and feedback of the community.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Increased Engagement: By providing localized and accessible resources, we anticipate a significant increase in engagement from the LATAM community. New members will find it easier to join and participate actively in the SingularityNET ecosystem.

  • Enhanced Skills and Participation: The structured guidance and skill development programs will equip new members with the necessary knowledge and abilities to contribute effectively to Deep Funding initiatives, thereby enhancing the overall quality and impact of the projects within the ecosystem.

  • Stronger Community Bonds: The support and integration efforts will help foster a strong, cohesive community that feels connected and committed to SingularityNET's shared vision.

By addressing the specific needs of the LATAM community through the Deep Funding Academy LATAM in partnership with the SNET Latam community, we aim to empower a new wave of contributors who can drive innovation and growth within the SingularityNET ecosystem.

Hello Gombilla! For sure it is a significant undertaking, but we feel confident we can do it, because we've already done the general DFA, learned a lot from that and this would be an opportunity to expand that to a community that has shown a lot of interest in Deep Funding, and that demonstrated how much easier it would be for them to learn and understand DFA if it was thought in their native language.  So we have the chance here to combine our experience and knowledge with the huge opportunity in the Latam Community and the effort of the Singularity Latam Community that brought a lot of new people to participate in Deep Funding that need quality education. In addition, we agree with you, we clearly benefit and need partnerships, and we do have right now a partnership with Andamio for the educational project based learning platform, and a Partnership with the SNET Latam Community in the process of getting users to DFA Latam but also in the development of our content. In terms of sustainability, that is a huge concern for us we want DFA and DFA LATAM to be sustainable and keep improving in the long-run, and we have some solutions and ideas we are exploring for this but I don't and can't share anything that is not completely agreed and defined as we don't want to mislead people, but bottom line, we are working on sustainability and we have a few solutions to explore on that front so that we're not dependent on getting proposals funded in Deep Funding. However, we will still need to recur to the Funding Rounds for Expansions to new languages and specific territories and communities, because this expansion imply  a lot of work. Setting up infrastructure, gathering a local team, creating tailored content, a lot of translations, and a strong marketing effort for the beggining where we start from 0.  However, once they're established we just need to focus on sustainability for everyday operations and improvements.

    Deep Funding Academy LATAM

The core problem that this proposal is aiming to solve is the challenge that new community members face in effectively participating, understanding and engaging with the SingularityNET ecosystem. This proposal's solution to address the challenges faced by new community members from the LATAM region is the establishment of the LATAM Deep Endowment Academy.
I feel that this proposal lacks a lot of information about the team, they should clearly share information about the team.

Can the same be implemented outside LATAM?

The group's aspirations are also representative of the community, which is to provide adequate knowledge, skills and long-term development support for the LATAM community. Not only the LATAM community but all over the world, those who are interested in AI - SNET technology have this wish. I hope more proposals like this will be implemented. Or the team can think about expanding the scale of deploying a similar model further in the future.

Has high potential but requires careful execution.

the Deep Funding Academy (DFA) in Spanish has high potential but requires careful execution. Focusing on high-quality translation, targeted marketing, and fostering a strong LATAM community within the SNET ecosystem can increase the project's value.

This project proposes a Spanish version of the Deep Funding Academy (DFA) to educate and engage the growing LATAM community in SingularityNET (SNET). Here's a breakdown of its strengths and weaknesses:

    Feasibility:

    • High: The project leverages existing DFA resources, requires translation and adaptation for the LATAM audience.
    • Strengths: The development process can be efficient by adapting existing materials.
    • Weaknesses: High-quality translation and cultural adaptation are crucial for effective communication.

    Viability:

    • Moderate-High: Success depends on attracting and retaining LATAM participants, offering valuable content, and integrating them into the SNET community.
    • Strengths: Addressing the language barrier can significantly increase LATAM participation.
    • Weaknesses: Marketing the program effectively in LATAM and ensuring long-term community engagement require effort.

    • Weaknesses: The long-term impact on LATAM member engagement and their contribution to Deep Funding needs evaluation.

    Additional Points:

    • Partnering with existing SNET LATAM communities can aid in outreach and promotion.
    • Content should be culturally relevant and address any specific needs or interests of the LATAM audience.
    • Engaging local talent for translation, content creation, and community management can be beneficial.

Here are some strengths of this project:

    • Addresses a critical barrier (language) for LATAM individuals interested in participating in SNET and Deep Funding.
    • Leverages existing DFA resources, making development efficient and cost-effective.
    • Has the potential to significantly increase LATAM engagement and bring new perspectives to the SNET ecosystem.

Here are some challenges to address:

    • Effectively translating and adapting content to resonate with the LATAM audience.
    • Building awareness of the program and attracting a critical mass of LATAM participants.
    • Ensuring long-term engagement and integrating LATAM members into the broader SNET community.

By addressing these challenges and focusing on a culturally sensitive and community-driven approach, this project can be a valuable tool for empowering the LATAM community and fostering their participation in SingularityNET.

Team has a great record and active experience

I believe this type of project makes sense because we need to build ways to increase incentives for users to use these materials in the future and to renew the audience of people who can access these tools and funds that allow dreaming and creating in a decentralized manner.

The team has a good track record, and the product seems to be something they can accomplish based on their background. Additionally, I like how they build the product and have witnessed their open education spaces that allow for community interaction while the product and educational lessons continue to iterate.

Continuously iterating and building this product is key, especially with this vision in mind. It will not only improve the SingularityNET marketplace but also enable people from diverse contexts to use these tools. AI has the potential to break barriers and help solve critical problems in various economic contexts.
