Overview

The goal is to explore and develop the concept of a decentralized and crowdsourced algotrading strategy development and backtesting platform for crypto algorithmic or "quant" traders. The main concept is centered around a hub to aggregate data relating to algorithmic strategies simulated on historical market data (as well as aggregating historical market tick data in one accessible platform). The main idea is for the community at large to collectively benefit from combined efforts of many rather than duplicating efforts in siloed environments with varied levels of experience and expertise.

    Hi there. This proposal seems a bit incomplete and rushed over. It will be difficult to properly assess this submission on the basis of its feasibility, viability, usefulness and desirability. Thanks !

    Proposal appears to lack key details

    I am drawn to ask if this proposal is really complete or was being put in as a test submission. I want to believe that the proposers had more vision and initiatives behind this, but their failures to translate this into a comprehensive proposal makes this very questionable. For this reason, I guess this will attract low interest from the community especially considering that transparency is lacking in this project details. 

    The proposing team ought to do better !

    Desirability

The biggest would be clarifying what incentives may make a successful algotrader drop his secret in a public pool

    Algo Trading Platform Lacks Details

    Overall

    An interesting idea that might be used to optimize trading tactics is the suggestion for a decentralized and crowdsourced platform for algo trading techniques. But the concept has a lot of holes in it, especially when it comes to the team, the clarity of the milestones, and the budget, which makes it less viable and feasible overall.

    First there is no team bio, information or explanation if there is experience. Second besides that 5K to write a Whitpaper is excessive- this proposal does not meet the base rules of the Ideation Pool for developing a New Project imo.

    There is no basis to measure Feasibility or Desireability due to information that is lacking.

    Project was poorly written. Absolutely, no details on about the Team lead, poorly stated budget. finally poor effort towards the project problem, solution and impact on SNET community.
