Most would rather get things done themselves or use a third-party agents than an app for fear of the unknown.

    The proposal is to develop Ucheckin - a dApp built based on AI algorithms to optimize the hotel booking experience. Ucheckin eliminates the problems travelers face from overbooking, price discrepancies, complicated cancellation policies, hidden fees, unreliable information, etc. However, I don't think Ucheckin can bring diverse hotel choices when the majority of hotels have not adopted payments and used services from the blockchain space. Besides, Ucheckin's competitiveness is still very limited when traditional hotel booking applications such as Booking.com and Agoda are always ready to launch promotions. This is the factor that makes tourists still choose to use traditional applications despite the inconvenience and lack of privacy. Simply because they save money on travel spending. Anyway, Uncheckin is still a project worth looking forward to when ensuring privacy issues. The rest depends on whether the hotels that will use Uncheckin are truly widespread or not.
