Edify CoLabs proposes an AI-enabled full value audit platform to help organizations adapt to rapid, disruptive change. Traditional management practices struggle to keep pace with technological advancements, leaving businesses unable to measure their full value, particularly intangible assets. This solution automates the full value audit methodology and guides organizations through the process. It aims to address the challenges of valuing assets, understanding their impact, and dealing with exponential growth. EdifyAI's target market includes a wide range of organizations, from private enterprises to public entities, both on-chain and off-chain, new and established, across various sectors and geographies. Their marketing strategy focuses on social media, academic networks, and special interest communities to drive engagement and adoption.

Problem Description

Organisations are struggling to adapt to exponential change in multiple areas

Some parsing - for us the word Organisation is important and intentional - as it encompasses individuals, teams, communities and entities, both in the Commercial space - firms and enterprises, and also the Cultural space - Public sector, third sector, charity space and the emerging 4th sector mixed profit and charity space. We often replace it with the word Organism - as this highlights the context of complex adaptive systems, resource allocation and uncertainty.  Exponential - yup we all get it. Multiple areas - exponential change across multiple areas that is now leading to a cascading of the leveraged exponentiality effects and rapidly increasing complexity and uncertainty experienced by organisations today.

Nested transformational drivers in a VUCA world

Organisational Environment change - The disruptive forces of change brought about by factors such as digital technological and its magnifying effect on globalisation were highlighted during the great recession - where the environment for organisations was described as becoming increasingly Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA).

These trends were exacerbated by the pandemic - In previous macroeconomic cycles, driven usually at a national level, changes to the economic environment were driven by either Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Legal or environmental factors operating mainly in serial, linear isolation. This changed by the time of the pandemic - with Macroeconomic cycles now being influenced by multiple factors operating in parallel - massively increasing uncertainty across multiple sectors.

Organisational Market change - rapid and cumulative technological innovations in many areas have led to exponential growth in areas such as EdTech, MedTech, Sustainability, Blockchain, Crypto, AI, Robotics, et al: this level of exponential change in individual areas is starting to be understood and documented. However the potential for systematic volatility caused as a result of exponential growth in each area magnifying exponential change and growth in interrelated areas- is only now being appreciated.

Reduced time to act - cycle times at all levels are radically accelerating  - offering success to organisations that use methodologies such as OODA (Observe, Orientate, Decide, Action) and Technologies such as AI, to reduce cycle times and become much more efficient, and so, successful and organisationally sustainable.

Adapting to flourish - this environment is ever evolving on an exponential scale across all domains. In order to not only survive but also thrive in the ever-disruptive landscape, individuals, teams, and organisations need to be able to adapt,transform and highlight their value - at shorter timescales.

Barriers to success - Valuing Assets, understanding Impact and Exponential Growth

Valuing assets - in capitalist influenced economies at least - which are based upon measuring and recording only tangible assets as the indicator of value within an organisation. There is now a crisis in the field of value measurement: due to the changing nature of how value is produced by an organisation in an economy. Today, if a business is sold typically only 10-15% of the monetary value paid for the business can be accounted for in the balance sheet of that business.  Meaning most businesses have no idea about how 85% of the value they create is measured or recorded. And this value only accounts for the market value paid - which may be suppressed as markets are volatile and themselves driven by emotion Even worse this measurement of value is only shown when a firm is sold - meaning businesses and partnership who do not sell, or organisations that are not profit driven have no way of valuing around  85% of the value of their main intangible assets. These Intangible assets are the things created by people, over time - things like a strong culture, great leadership, and the development of highly innovative ideas by teams and collaborators, that power the growth and success of companies and communities over time.

Understanding Impact - Human temporal challenges : humans are by nature very poor at qualifying or even quantifying the Impacts of actions taken today, on tomorrow and beyond - and this is compounded when those actions lead to an impact on intangible assets such as the climate, or the governance and wellbeing of a society.

Understanding Exponential growth - Humans and linear thinking: humans by nature are very poor at understanding Exponential Change and its Impact - we are consistently bad at quantifying or qualifying the rate of change and associated impacts of exponential growth -  both positive and negative - case in point the growth of the covid virus: from 1 to over a million infection cases in 14 days.

Harnessing exponential change

There is a huge potential for harnessing these exponential change agents - such as AI and Blockchain, to produce beneficial exponential change and growth for all sectors: Private, Public, 3rd and 4th sectors, and all organisations of all sizes within them. 

These change agents can also be used as an opportunity to bring improvements across the factors in the organisational environment listed previously, by supporting change in areas such as: 

  • Political - new forms of Governance, 

  • Economic - new models of Value, 

  • Social - new types of community, 

  • Technological - new integration of Technology,

The danger of increasing scarcity

Centralised, Monopolistic, or Oligarchic systems are built to retain and gain more control and power over any resources available - including both money (Commercial) and people (Cultural).

This is already evident in the Current organisational environment with regards to AI development: with the race to ‘own’ the AI space by the current big operators - leading to the Oligarchic concentration of AI capability.  

This drive to centralisation of control and power is already cascading down to the next level of commercial organisations - with the launch of Enterprise level AI solutions, ones that have already been trialed with global multinationals such as PWC. These Enterprise Level solutions provide a ‘walled garden’ of LLM and Machine Learning based product solutions for an individual enterprise - aimed at making them future fit for continued dominance and concentration of power.

Our proposition is to support leadership teams going through the steps necessary to appreciate their full value, achieve their potential and realise the portion of their Full - or True Value, that they think is appropriate. With a proven system of coaching backed by many iterations of experience across many sectors.

To do this we intend to build and grow a Scalable low-cost solution - supported by exponential technologies such as AI and Blockchain.

Full Value Audit and Dashboard - for working with a leadership team to build a customisable model for appreciating the true value of an organisations full value - both Commercial and Cultural, covering both today's Income and Capabilities, and their ability to spin up and leverage Tangible and Intangible assets in the future. 

Exponential growth toolkit - a set of frameworks that take the full value audit and dashboard and present them in a way that also enables an Exponential Organisational (ExO) growth pathway for teams that are committed to that journey.

Solution Description

 

The heart of the proposed solution to take our existing, fully developed and highly successful, Full Value based, Exponential Growth focussed Coaching methodology and programme, and augment it with AI capability, delivered via the SNET platform, to produce an innovative AI-enabled Full Value Audit platform, and Dashboard, that aims to address the lack of management practices adapted for exponential tech business models. We aim to solve this root issue by giving organisations a way to systematically understand their True Value. The dashboard and coaching will help them leverage these insights to adapt and thrive amid cascading exponential change. An open-source approach can help proliferate these methodologies across contexts.

This supports AI-enabled development of an Exponential Organisation (ExO) focussed Vision Canvas for the organisation, which can then be integrated into a bespoke AI-enabled  Exponential Growth Journey Playbook and associated coaching programme to support the organisation in delivering the scalable growth targets necessary for successfully achieving its growth targets.

Full Value Audit Tool - Develop a full value audit methodology covering all assets.

This intelligent system EdifyAI initiates the audit process by collecting foundational organisational knowledge through simple abstract questions. This initial data serves as a starting point for more in-depth conversation between the leadership team and EdifyAI, ensuring that the AI understands and validates that the nuances of each area are addressed.

 

EdifyAI then engages in a dynamic information-gathering process with the leadership team, progressing through areas until it achieves a working understanding and identifies values. It tailors its approach based on leadership inputs, culminating in audit results that pinpoint existing value distribution. This is done by balancing between converging and diverging the focus of the conversation at the appropriate time. Edify has built a well-refined structure that facilitates the gathering of empirical organisational information and when to dive deeper with the individual on particular topics. These strategies help surface the true value that tends to align with the purpose of the organisation.

Throughout the audit process, the AI is educating and coaching about the audit criteria to verify the leadership team is understanding each area. The AI is guiding them through the experience.

To further enhance EdifyAI's performance, a training metric is employed, gauging its performance in meeting category requirements and completing the entire audit process. This metric drives iterative improvements in question formulation in order to reduce this process. The performance metric for EdifyAI's efficacy ensures continuous improvement.

Full Value Dashboard - the criteria from the Full Value Audit are rendered as a Dashboard that can be set to update all - or key criteria for ongoing measurement - enabling the effective development and delivery of both KPI’s and OKR’s. Allowing the organisation to run lean and agile methodologies - allowing the leadership team to track and manage the organisation's value and discover its current state on its journey through growth.

As outlined in our original DF2 Project we would like to offer out places on this programme as it is developed and deployed to dev teams and other orgs, at minimal cost - as appropriate and in conjunction with the SNET DF team.

Milestone 1: Train models on ~2 topic areas from the Audit Questionnaire IP

Theme: guide people into an efficient second layer of coaching questions for business based on initial input about their businesses.

Deliverables/Outputs: 

  • Selected tech stack; created a specialised LLM covering two selected subject areas from our body of business-consulting IP.

Objectives: 

  • Establish a baseline of language-model capabilities

  • Use the observed results from the model(s) to fine-tune details of application design and workflow architecture

  • Explore Licensing options with these elements of AI and app development to support open source community

Revenue Sharing

Yes, revenue share for clients using platform and API calls made to SingularityNET. Also positioning value will establish clearly how SingularityNet is a platform for Benevolent AIs.

Consideration:

75/25 profit split - 75% to proposal team, 25% to SingularityNET/Deep Funding on API calls, capped at 125%  for providing platform and funding.

  • Revenue share % could decrease over time as proposer recoups costs.

Large Corporations - where enterprise level, AI support, for cross functional operations is already being trialled - with firms such as PWC, who are using AI enablement across their own business, as a precursor to rolling out effective solutions to other enterprise clients.

Solopreneurs and small businesses - Functional third party apps covering functional areas such as marketing,recruitment and other professional services segments focussed upn service delivery are now proliferating.

Market and Product Differentiation - EdifyAI Full Value ExO Solutions

Our service covers a different market segment - Innovators and Early Adopters in the People and Relationship space, as it is aimed at firms who wish to understand the value of their commercial, things-based assets, and the value of their cultural, or people-based assets, providing them with a holistic, or Full Value based metric.

This approach is then leveraged by using an explicit set of Exponential Organisation based (ExO) growth strategies to provide scalable growth across a full spectrum of tangible and intangible areas.

Enabling this approach with an AI-backed implementation leverages this approach further so that it can be delivered to small and medium-sized organisations, at scale.

Intangible - or Subtle Assets as we prefer to frame them, such as purpose, culture, leadership and communications, are produced by humans and as such are based mainly on feelings, emotions and knowings. Moving forward as our service develops we see that our offering - as it gains specialism in the area of measuring and valuing intangible capabilities and assets will gain utility and so value. With an open API, we can create additional product channels not depending on the Edify UI's; the SNET-based monetization path can support others leveraging this business-consulting insights engine built atop the SNET platform.

Promotion Strategy

As we have a group of domain experts from several fields, who have their own networks of communities, our main promotional strategy will be to distribute the promotion effort by leveraging these networks. This time-consuming effort will be our investment for the success of the platform. We will extend incentives to those networks and account for their further promotion using a contribution-accounting token inspired by cooperative accounting principles.

We have already begun this process with the agreement for a series of presentations around Cambridge and London for the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and HSBC bank - which will be distributed online.

These networks will include:

  • Academic Networks in the US and Canada, UK, Europe and the African Continent, including the University of Cambridge in the UK

Summary

Context: The environment for organisations is entering systematic, disruptive, transformational change and uncertainty - at an exponentially increasing rate.

The problem: Organisations in many sectors are now approaching a period of crisis as they are facing a clear and present threat to their existence - but most do not appreciate this yet.

The problem’s root cause: The exponential pace of technology has changed business models faster than management practices have adapted. Organisations lack frameworks to measure their full value, especially intangible assets.

Proposed solution: The proposed AI-enabled full value audit platform aims to address this root issue by giving organisations a way to systematically measure value in a standardised way (includes intangibles).

Understanding Impact - Human temporal challenges : humans are by nature very poor at qualifying or even quantifying the Impacts of actions taken today, on tomorrow and beyond - and this is compounded when those actions lead to an impact on intangible assets such as the climate, or the governance and wellbeing of a society.

Understanding Exponential growth - Humans and linear thinking: humans by nature are very poor at understanding Exponential Change and its Impact - we are consistently bad at quantifying or qualifying the rate of change and associated impacts of exponential growth -  both positive and negative - case in point the growth of the covid virus: from 1 to over a million infection cases in 14 days.

There is a huge potential for harnessing these exponential change agents - such as AI and Blockchain, to produce beneficial exponential change and growth for all sectors: Private, Public, 3rd and 4th sectors, and all organisations of all sizes within them.

The danger of increasing scarcity

Centralised, Monopolistic, or Oligarchic systems are built to retain and gain more control and power over any resources available - including both money (Commercial) and people (Cultural).

This is already evident in the Current organisational environment with regards to AI development: with the race to ‘own’ the AI space by the current big operators - leading to the Oligarchic concentration of AI capability.  

This drive to centralisation of control and power is already cascading down to the next level of commercial organisations - with the launch of Enterprise level AI solutions, ones that have already been trialed with global multinationals such as PWC. Full Value Audit Tool - Develop a full value audit methodology covering all assets.

This intelligent system EdifyAI initiates the audit process by collecting foundational organisational knowledge through simple abstract questions. This initial data serves as a starting point for more in-depth conversation between the leadership team and EdifyAI, ensuring that the AI understands and validates that the nuances of each area are addressed.

 

 

EdifyAI then engages in a dynamic information-gathering process with the leadership team, progressing through areas until it achieves a working understanding and identifies values. It tailors its approach based on leadership inputs, culminating in audit results that pinpoint existing value distribution. Large Corporations - where enterprise level, AI support, for cross functional operations is already being trialled - with firms such as PWC, who are using AI enablement across their own business, as a precursor to rolling out effective solutions to other enterprise clients.

Solopreneurs and small businesses - Functional third party apps covering functional areas such as marketing,recruitment and other professional services segments focussed upn service delivery are now proliferating.

Market and Product Differentiation - EdifyAI Full Value ExO Solutions

Our service covers a different market segment - Innovators and Early Adopters in the People and Relationship space, as it is aimed at firms who wish to understand the value of their commercial, things-based assets, and the value of their cultural, or people-based assets, providing them with a holistic, or Full Value based metric.

This approach is then leveraged by using an explicit set of Exponential Organisation based (ExO) growth strategies to provide scalable growth across a full spectrum of tangible and intangible areas.

Enabling this approach with an AI-backed implementation leverages this approach further so that it can be delivered to small and medium-sized organisations, at scale.

Intangible - or Subtle Assets as we prefer to frame them, such as purpose, culture, leadership and communications, are produced by humans and as such are based mainly on feelings, emotions and knowings. In our logical tangible framed world they are often expressed via thinking that is expressed through language. As we have a group of domain experts from several fields, who have their own networks of communities, our main promotional strategy will be to distribute the promotion effort by leveraging these networks. This time-consuming effort will be our investment for the success of the platform. We will extend incentives to those networks and account for their further promotion using a contribution-accounting token inspired by cooperative accounting principles.

We have already begun this process with the agreement for a series of presentations around Cambridge and London for the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce and HSBC bank - which will be distributed online.

Consideration:

75/25 profit split - 75% to proposal team, 25% to SingularityNET/Deep Funding on API calls, capped at 125%  for providing platform and funding.

  • Revenue share % could decrease over time as proposer recoups costs.

  • Revenue could come from subscriptions, usage fees, licensing.

Open Source:

  • Trained models: available under dual license - AGPL for open source community use, commercial license for monetisation.

As part of our MTP as expressed in our DF2 project roadmap - around enabling education to be provided free at the point of source. For organisations such as WADA and their community hubs, who offer both for-profit and non-profit operations we would like to develop a mechanism for subsidising their subscription fees - ideally to zero.

Future roadmap

This proposal is part of an integrated suite of projects and proposals that have been developed to take our Full Value Dashboard based, Exponential Growth focussed coaching, consultancy and mentoring programmes. And be able to leverage them by delivering them online and at scale in order to support innovation-focused devs in Small and Medium sized organisations.

This roadmap is to integrate the work we've been doing with the Catalyst, enabling firms using our tools to become part of a networked community under d.Cyper's InsightIQ platform. We'll measure the impact effectiveness for these firms to demonstrate product value, and also feed data from the broader community back into the AI models, further amplifying our product's effectiveness.

The next phase - leveraging the power of Community, development, and management.

Supporting SME's on the challenging journey ahead - we believe that as exponential challenges converge at an increasing rate then to take advantage of these challenges and flourish then organisations need to focus on mastering several areas including:

All of these areas can be hugely enabled for SME's by the same exponential disruptive technologies - AI, Impact and Blockchain in particular

As our product matures in collaboration with d.Cypher and our other partners, we seek to enable communities to start and launch their own W3-enabled, AI-powered communities with velocity and at scale.
