Good first step towards establishing trust

With a rising number of services registered to SNET and likewise a rising number of providers, sooner than later a  mechanism to establish trust will become necessary. Eric has a very solid background to deliver the proposed solution, which seems like a good first step and experiment to me. I think this could also have been an RFP design proposal to first invest in specifying exactly what is needed and which technologies are desirable to be used, but it also seems good to start with a prototype and continue from there on.

Project feasibility looks great, with experience and proper breakdown on Milestones and budget spread out which makes it looks sufficient to carry out this project.

Highly Technical Proposal Yet Intriguing Premise

The proposal is outside my own field of activity, and is difficult to parse given its highly technical description. However I'm familiar with Mr. Duneau's projects and his presence in the SingularityNET Town Halls. I have confidence he can deliver on this proposal.

If I understand correctly, Mr. Duneau proposes developing a service which can evaluate how trustworthy an AI service is. Given the rapidly developing ability of various AI (text, generative imagery & video, etc) on social networks, we really need this kind of service to navigate truthfully and securely in tomorrow's world.

Necessary measures to mitigate malicious AI

- Overall
The proponent has provided a useful solution for the SingularityNET ecosystem, helping to keep AI applications healthy and limiting junk AI. The team is quite thin and needs additional resources.

- Feasibility
The solution is possible based on the Digital Identity Trust Framework, which stamps AI with Digital Identity, a concept that has been around for several years now but has not yet been commercialized.

- Viability
The project was created with a methodical and detailed plan with 4 milestones, each milestone has complete information about what needs to be done, output commitments, completion time and actual costs. presently. However, there is only 1 person and resources are quite thin.

- Desirabilty
With no solution yet for users to know which applications are good and which are not, this project's proposal should be brought to life and commercialized soon.

- Usefulness
Just like in our lives, there always exists a police force to reduce crime and make life peaceful, so on SingularityNET's AI platform, there also needs to be applications similar to the police force to clear trouble in the future. helping our AI platform become increasingly clean and sustainable.

This Project Will Improve the Community!

This project is needed because the expansion of AI capabilities and the emergence of AI marketplaces necessitate a system to establish trust. Without a trust system, users and other AI entities are vulnerable to interacting with AI services that may be deficient or malevolent. Hi Ira - I am not sure you understood well, or maybe you made a mistake in your comment. This proposal is NOT for "a framework ... to use the services of bad agents", on the contrary it is for flagging those AIs which are not doing what they were supposed to do. Also, AI services are NOT "authorized" by VCs, as you wrote, but are stamped as a  new VC issuance after each execution. The authorization of usage is a different matter.

I am not sure in the end if you have understood well what the proposal is about, or if your review is an automated (wrong) summary made by an AI. Anyway, thank you for your participation and I hope that you will support this project.

I understand that at first, it may seem unlikely that one person alone can deliver a full system, but I think I have proven so many times now, in the past 3-4 years, that this is what I do. You can check the following projects, which i have developped alone from start to finish: (i) authenly.com ; (ii) SignWithWallet.com ; (iii) opensourceAIs.com ; (iv) shortfakes.com. In addition, I have already done many proof of concepts with digital identity, a lot of knowledge which i will reuse to pass this project. You will also see that i have set the project on a "long" timeframe (8 months to deliver a 6 months plan forecast), to lower the risk of a late delivery. Finally, unlike many others, this project does not have complex dependencies, which could otherwise cause delay outside of my control.

A very good suggestion regarding Digital Identity. Surely the world will need proposals like this more and more in the future. The SNET ecosystem is in need of proposals like this. Everything is commendable, including from the feasibility and benefits that the proposal brings, to the viability and the author's desire expressed in the proposal. However, I haven't seen what time period the author intends to take, please let me know about the duration or timing factor so I can evaluate more perfectly.
I respect the author very much, because he is a high-quality and reputable person in the high-tech world for a long time.

This is not a one-time project for me, as I intend to continue building opensourceAIs and its decentralised identity component for the next few years.I will try to add a section in the proposal to cover your question. However, I think the low hanging fruit here is that in case I deliver the code but do not continue to maintain it, anyone in the community could fork it and continue on.  Note also that I am mostly building on either open source, or mainstream components, so that the future solution does not become locked in a proprietary code.

A project worth looking forward to

When the AI industry expands to a certain extent, an AI marketplace will emerge where users pay for AI services. Therefore, it becomes essential to verify the performance of AI before deciding to purchase any AI service. This is quite an interesting project where AI users can find AI that suits their needs based on Digital Identity. AI sellers and service providers can also evaluate and price AI based on its performance. Eric Duneau is the only core member of the project. According to his biography, Eric is an experienced individual in the software industry. Eric's career in the AI industry only started in 2019 but already has significant achievements such as creating OpenSourceAIs. With high feasibility and great vision, I believe this is a project worth looking forward to.
