Have you obtained a go ahead from the Snet staff you will be colaborating with? Do you have any KPIs or metrics on your deliverables? And how will this meet rule 1 for the marketing pool?

Thank you for your question. As this event focuses on educating and onboarding the Toronto community to SNET and Deep Funding, our team has the expertise to execute it independently. However, if funded, we will reach out to SNET staff for potential attendance or materials, should they see value in participating. Our KPIs and metrics will include the number of RSVPs, actual attendees, and the quality of feedback from participants.

Attach the amount to the work item

This proposal is about holding the event in Toronto. With only one milestone and a required amount of $7,000, the author has tried to outline the work items that need to be done. But I want the use of finance to be more transparent with the breakdown of money accompanying these work items. That's my suggestion. If you do this, the author's spending transparency will be perfect.

an event to raise awareness about SingularityNET

This proposal outlines an event to raise awareness about SingularityNET and Deep Funding in the Toronto blockchain community. Here's a breakdown of its strengths and weaknesses:

    Feasibility:

    • High: Organizing a local community event is a feasible approach.
      • Strengths: OffChain Toronto has experience hosting events and a network of potential attendees.
      • Weaknesses: Attracting a significant audience specifically interested in SingularityNET and Deep Funding might require additional marketing efforts.

    Viability:

    • Moderate: Success depends on attracting attendees, the event's content, and its ability to generate interest in SingularityNET and Deep Funding.
      • Strengths: The proposal leverages an existing community platform (OffChain Toronto).
      • Weaknesses: The proposal lacks details on the event format (speakers, topics), budget, and marketing strategy.

    Desirability:

    • Moderate: For individuals in the Toronto blockchain community interested in AI, this could be desirable.
      • Strengths: The proposal offers an opportunity to learn about SingularityNET and Deep Funding.
      • Weaknesses: The proposal needs to clearly articulate the event's value proposition to attract attendees beyond just general blockchain enthusiasts.

    Usefulness:

    • Moderate: The project has the potential to raise awareness about SingularityNET and Deep Funding, but its impact depends on the event's quality and outreach.
      • Strengths: The proposal aims to educate attendees and foster community engagement.
      • Weaknesses: The proposal lacks details on how the event will measure its success beyond attendance numbers.

Overall, the OffChain Toronto SingularityNET Event has a good foundation, but focus on:

    • Event Content: Developing a compelling program with engaging speakers and topics relevant to SingularityNET and Deep Funding.
    • Marketing Strategy: Creating a targeted marketing plan to reach the specific audience interested in decentralized AI.
    • Success Metrics: Defining clear metrics to measure the event's impact beyond attendance numbers, such as website traffic, social media engagement, or post-event surveys.

    Strengths:

    • Leverages an existing community platform (OffChain Toronto)
    • Offers an opportunity to educate attendees about SingularityNET and Deep Funding.

    Weaknesses:

    • Lacks details on event format, budget, and marketing strategy.
    • Needs a clearer value proposition to attract a targeted audience.
    • Lacks specific success metrics beyond attendance.

By addressing these considerations, this event can be a valuable tool for raising awareness and building interest in SingularityNET and Deep Funding within the Toronto blockchain community.

    OffChain Toronto and updates

OffChain Global has proven its ability to organize events ranging from webinars to in-person meetups, facilitating community expansion and collaboration. Partnerships with leading organizations such as Dfinity and Catalyst are also a plus, demonstrating the ability to build relationships and increase presence in the community.
However, some limitations may include a lack of financial or technical resources to support large and diverse events. Additionally, attracting new users and maintaining their engagement can be challenging, especially in a competitive and rapidly changing field like blockchain and AI. To be successful, OffChain Toronto needs to continuously update and adapt to new trends, while maintaining a large and diverse network of collaborations.
