Overview

O-E-S stands for Ocean-Earth-Space topics. We propose developing a new immersive proof-of-concept OES educational platform built around SingularityNET's ecosystem, AGIX, The Adaptive Learning & avatars of the Carbix MVSE, and Xyris XR's existing 3D worlds for STEM. We will build the technical structure for our learning content platform designed to make exploring science a 21st-century immersive 3D experience of "ambitious learning". We will work with experts in earth, solar, and astronomy sciences to develop our content.

Proposal Description

How Our Project Will Contribute To The Growth Of The Decentralized AI Platform

We will build out a dedicated adaptive learning platform for the SingualityNET marketplace guided by these principles:

  1. Content will be authored with scientist advisors in natural sciences, with onboarding to SingularityNET
  2. We will use & extend existing SingularityNET services for adaptive learning & conversational avatars
  3. We scale content by inviting leaders in STEM from our extensive network, combined with promotional calls to the community

Our Team

Kenn Mayfield is experienced with AI-driven real time 3D environments for STEM, entertainment, coworking and counselling. Kenn and Carbix Corp together produced the Carbix MVSE metaverse for Deep Funding Round 1. 

I've developed interactive e-learning content as far back as the year 2000: Telus World of Science in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, XML-based Flash lessons in mechanical maintenance, and now avatar-based e-learning.

Visualisation, innovation, entrepreneurship & communication are my focus.

The core problem we are aiming to solve

Natural sciences are incredibly complex, yet immensely inspiring. Keeping students engaged with sometimes abstract concepts and complex details that are generally out of sight/out of mind or too small/too immense to grasp is a problem that discourages "ambitious curiosity" in young students.

Our specific solution to this problem

We have 50+ virtual world examples built with many of these intended for STEM subjects, including ocean phenomena, coral life, forest biomes, arctic and desert environments, solar & stellar phenomena.
All are built to be experienced from a first or third-person point of view. 

By combining these worlds with our services started in the Carbix metaverse (adaptive learning and ChatGPT conversation) with a new content delivery platform built atop AGIX/ASI, we can invite students to learn in vivid environments, itself within the future-forward SingularityNET development of beneficial AGI. 

To differentiate our project, we'll work closely with scientific and exploration experts for detailed, personalized content instead of standard course formats that require agreat commitment of time. Instead of just video-based content, we will have 360-degree immersive, interactive, and explorable environments built in Unity 3D.

We will start with Earth 300 advisors who specialize in ocean microbiology and exploration. I have a "favourites list" of other foundations to approach.

We bring this principle into the lab or classroom. Why study organic chemistry in a dull room when you can study hydrocarbons on Titan? If researching botany why not examine species in situ? Interested in Sol?
